I’m extremely disappointed with my experience with Team Ram of Myrtle Beach. I purchased a 2026 RAM 3500 DRW from them at the beginning of July. I live in North Carolina, and as part of the purchase, the dealership was supposed to handle the paperwork necessary to transfer my existing NC license plate to the new truck. It is now September, my tags expire this month, and when I went to the NC license plate agency, I was told they have NO RECORD of the truck. I was informed that the dealership still needs to submit the required information, along with the taxes and fees they collected from me as part of the purchase. More than two months after purchasing the truck, I should not be standing at the license plate agency trying to figure out why my vehicle hasn't even been properly entered into the system. This is paperwork the dealership was paid to handle. What makes this even more frustrating is the complete lack of communication. I have called the dealership on multiple occasions and have also texted the person who handled my sale trying to get this resolved. No one will return my calls or respond to my texts. I shouldn't have to repeatedly chase down a dealership to get them to complete the paperwork associated with a vehicle they sold me. Unfortunately, that's not my only disappointment. After purchasing the truck, I discovered scratches and dents that appeared to have been covered up rather than properly disclosed and repaired. Now I'm left dealing with getting those issues corrected myself on this truck. Buying a 2026 RAM 3500 is a significant investment, and I expected much better follow-through, communication, and attention to detail. They were certainly responsive when they were selling me the truck. Unfortunately, my experience after the sale has been very different. Based on my experience, I would strongly encourage anyone considering purchasing from Team Ram of Myrtle Beach—especially an out-of-state buyer—to carefully inspect the vehicle and make sure all title, registration, tax, and plate paperwork is actually submitted and completed.
