The worst dealership experience I have ever had. I have worked in dealerships for 15 plus years. I took my 2017 Chevy Trax to Bowman chev because it is a dealership under management of mostly woman. I have worked in dealerships for 15 plus years. I took my 2017 Chevy Trax to Bowman chev because it is a dealership under management of mostly woman. Big mistake! I would not have rated them with 1 star but it would not allow me to do so. I brought my vehicle in told Ryan Maze the service writer that my rear differential was missing probably the pinion gear. He asked what it was doing I reiterated what I said again! Did I mention I was a service dispatcher and concerns of vehicles is something I do for a living! I say it is as if my rear wheels are on ice and when I’m drive it feels like they are on ice and then suddenly grab in low gears currently. It continues to get worse as it warms up. I dropped my vehicle off March 3rd which was a Friday. So Monday the service writer pulls my car out of the parking spot and says it feels like brakes to him. It is now Monday March 6 th. He calls to tell me it will be 2500 dollars for rear brakes I tell him I just replaced my brake pads this summer all the way around d it is not my brakes. I ask him if he the tech looked at my diff or was he diagnosing my car based on pulling out of the parking spot. He insisted the tech looked at my car. I tell him there is no way shape or form I am paying that for brakes. If he can get aftermarket calipers then fine he tells me I need a brakes fluid exchange mmmkkk. My Lines where they are plastic are corrupted. Mmmkkk again. So I say fine whatever you’re sure this is what’s wrong then fine. So now it is Wednesday he calls me to tell me that it is not I. Fact what they thought it was I was right it is the diff. I tell him I want my old parts this is bs they misdiagnosed my car snd want to speak to the service director. Judy she is more than pompous and clearly knows very little about my car indicating my diff went out due to my bad brakes. I tell her now you’re insulting my intelligence and I was calling a dealership I have worked at and speaking with them. I call just back after she tells me it will be an additional 4500 dollars because my car is 6 months out of powertrain. She says my powertrain is 5 years. I tell her she is going to have to help this is not my error it is theirs. I go pick up my car after I have been gaslighted and my brake pedal goes to the floor I turn around in the parking lot snd tell them it feels as if the brakes have no pressure and need to be bled. I go back they bleed the brakes they are no better at all and now grind but before I take my car I see they have chipped my windshield! I can’t get rid of this place and just be done for nothing. We go over the pre inspection photos and they agree to fill the chip which is still very visible and ticked me off but it is supposed to keep from cracking so whatever. I would never go back to this place again if they gave me free service for a year! The worst snd such a poor representation of a female run business. The only! Person in the whole experience that was not miserable to deal with was Jesse the service manager! He was really nice and compassionate. He should go somewhere else. This can’t be the first and o my awful experience. I still never got to see my parts! I feel unsafe and have to take my care to another shop to have someone take my brake concerns I now have due to the crappy service. Awful awful beware do not go here 0 out of 10 More
