When submitting a request for service on the site, it did not have an option for recalls. I manually typed in the reason for my service appointment in the freehanded section. When I showed up, they took down all of my customer information like it was the first time they're hearing about it. When I mentioned I'd be there for the recalls, I was told they may need to order parts and it would be Monday before anything could be fixed. That is kind of ridiculous that there's no preparation despite me making the appointment early in the week. It would have been nice to have more email communication regarding the status of my appointment. One to confirm the service, and that an actual human looked over it. I shouldn't feel like they never even saw my appointment. Coming from BMW, they have leaps and bounds better customer service in that department. I recommend learning from their service department. Other than that, there were no problems with the actual technical remedy of the recall that did not require additional parts, which was nice. I wish the service department had a place to sit down and wait like BMW does. Just seems like its a little thrown together service department and not customer focused. I know this location is more centered to commercial trucks so I understand that. But still, a couple tables and chairs would be a nice addition. More
