Davit immediately arranged for someone to come to my location with a loaner and had the car jump started and brought to dealership for further checks on battery / alternator situation. Ultimately, car needed a new battery and Davit had it installed same day and also helped in delivering the car back to me and picked up the loaner. It is not only this time but all the time that I deal with there Herb Chambers Porsche dealership in Boston, I experience the same care and customer focus by their service team (Joe & Davit). From Vito Argot who sold us the car and Fahad Arshad and all the guys in service to Eric Paulson who did all our paperwork to tie up all the loose ends , this was the most wonderful experience buying a new car! This is our first Porsche in our family! We will probably buy another Porsche next year to add to our family of cars! We prefer to custom order our Porsche's, although the in-stock selection is quite extensive and perusing the cars and SUVs is a great way to learn about the brand. Order time ranges from 2-1/2 to 6-months depending on particular vehicle demand. The order process is simple and quite fun, just build your vehicle on the porsche.com website, save the build, visit Rick Scourtas, Sales Manager at Herb Chambers Porsche of Boston, and put down a small deposit. Rick reassigned one of their allocations to us and altered the scheduled options to match our selections. He kept us aware of the progress, including the paint date, build date, transport ship, port arrival, and dealer delivery. There are various Porsche forums the provide details on how to track the ship as it makes its journey across the pond. More about Rick Scourtas: pretty much a legend in the Porsche business; 37 years with Porsche, previously General Manager of Herb Chambers Porsche of Boston, and a Brand Ambassador. To say he knows Porsche would be a silly understatement; being with the brand so long he has direct contacts and can get up-to-date info, quite important when you're excited about your new arrival. Upon delivery, Rick arranged for our inspection sticker, care and preparation of the vehicle, and walked us through everything, even though this is our second Macan. Just spending time talking with Rick makes for an enjoyable experience. We also met Fahad Arshad, General Manager, who is pleasant and eager to offer any assistance needed. We were very impressed with the other staff as well, from warm greetings, to holding doors open, and offering our family beverages and snacks, the whole experience was first-class. My 2009 Porsche Cayenne was showing the Check Engine light on the instrument panel. It would appear and then not appear over a period of about six ( 6) weeks this past winter. I called Davit Petrosya light on the instrument panel. It would appear and then not appear over a period of about six ( 6) weeks this past winter. I called Davit Petrosyan, the Assistant Service Manager, with whom I had the pleasure of dealing with in the past, and he wasted no time in scheduling a visit for me to bring the the car in and have Jim, one of the techinicians work on the vehicle to try to address the reason for the Check Engine light. Davit, in order to try to save me money, tried to address the issue by having the purge valve and sensor replaced and the fuel injection system cleaned. Unfortunately, the Check Engine light came back on. During this service, Davit provided me with a loaner Porsche at no charge. Because the Check Engine light returned, Davit had me bring the vehicle back, and Jim, the technician who had been working on the vehicle, determined that I needed a new high pressure fuel pump after testing my vehicle with a high pressure fuel pump from another Cayenne. Again, Davit provided me with another loaner vehicle at no charge. Davit not only has the best interests of the company as a priority but also the best interest of a customer who has had a five year plus relationship with this dealership. Davit Petrosyan and the technicians, Jim and Mika, are the reasons why I have used this dealership for service and maintenance.
