In February 2025, I purchased a used 2023 Ford Escape from this dealership that included a Required Purchase of "Advantage Package" at an add-on cost of $1995. They claim the package has a value of $8600 from this dealership that included a Required Purchase of "Advantage Package" at an add-on cost of $1995. They claim the package has a value of $8600! It includes periodic reapplication of a) Paint and Fabric Protection, b) Sanitizer, c) Rain Repellant, and d) Headlight Protection. After 11 months of vehicle use, I took the vehicle to this dealership for the agreed to re-applications. The vehicle was ready after only 78 minutes. I sincerely believe that the dealership did none of the items stated. Small loose pieces of paper and tape that were on the seats before service were still there. White chalk marks on the headlights, fenders and doors were still there. One of the four tires was about 4 pounds low on pressure and it was still low after the claimed Nitrogen Tire Service Refill. When I complained to the Sales Manager, he stated that the re-applications were simply sprays that were applied without any general cleaning before application. If that is their true practice, I think that some of the loose fibers and papers on the seats would have shown some residue and they did not. Frankly, I have lost all trust with this dealership. If they don't do simple things stated in the "Advantage Plan", I question if they really do the more important and more complex mechanical services such as oil and filter changes, brake services, wheel alignments and replace bad engine components with truly new parts? More
