We purchased a vehicle on March 30, 2026, trading in our fully paid-off Nissan worth $2,000. Our salesperson Albert inflated our income on the credit application instead of accurately verifying our pay stubs. For over 60 days, the dealership cut off communication, failed to finalize financing, and neglected our title paperwork, forcing us to get emergency temporary tags from the DMV ourselves. Behind our back, Finance Manager Jose and the team "shotgunned" my credit with 8 separate unauthorized hard inquiries over two months, including an inquiry block just yesterday. Yesterday at 11:30 AM, GM Chad Shelton called and asked us to come in. When we arrived, they informed us our loan was denied and tried to blame us for their own finance department’s 60-day data entry errors. Sales Manager Yusef then demanded we surrender the new vehicle immediately and leave the lot completely stranded, claiming our trade-in was safely stored at the Manheim lot in Aurora. When we firmly refused to leave without our physical trade-in present, Yusef became completely hostile and aggressively got directly into my boyfriend’s face in the middle of the showroom. Chad Shelton and Yousef then threatened us with law enforcement over this civil contract dispute to force us out. We left safely with our vehicle. Afterward, we called the auction directly to check our VIN and discovered the truth: Alpine Nissan already permanently sold and disposed of our trade-in vehicle, directly violating Colorado spot-delivery laws [sbg.colorado.gov]. We have reported this illegal asset conversion directly to corporate owner Ivette Dominguez Drawe and filed a formal fraud complaint with the Colorado Auto Industry Division [sbg.colorado.gov]. Alvin, Jose, Yusef, and Chad Shelton are a disgrace. Avoid this lot at all costs. More
