While my husband and I were waiting for the non-existent Subaru that I had scheduled to purchase to be brought out this afternoon, we had the opportunity to chat with a lovely gentleman there waiting for hi Subaru that I had scheduled to purchase to be brought out this afternoon, we had the opportunity to chat with a lovely gentleman there waiting for his car to be serviced. We talked about how horrible it is to deal with car buying, how poorly women are treated when it comes to purchasing cars or even servicing cars. Boy did we get that right huh? I had a solid appointment scheduled for today, which the salesperson even confirmed in email this morning after the used Subaru I was coming to see was sold last night. Both my husband and I took time off our jobs today and no one at the dealership had the common decency to cancel this appointment. Once again a miserable experience with another dealership. I realize car sales people have to make a living by selling cars, but it is too much to ask that they also show a little respect for those of us in terrible situations that just need to get a car? Good luck to those of you looking for an honest dealership and looking to be treated respectfully. You should not expect that from Scott Clark Honda. UPDATE: The dealer reached out and offered to resolve the issue with many apologies for our experience. I was humbly surprised to find that they were able to find a very similar vehicle to what I was expecting to purchase and even went so far as to upgrade with the features I wanted at their expense. I have never had a good experience with a car dealer but I can now say there is a dealer in Charlotte that is looking out for their customers and concerned for their reputation. I would recommend when looking for a new or used vehicle that you check out Scott Clark Honda. More

The service technician that was assigned to me that day was very informative and extremely professional. In February 2024, I bought a Honda Passport from Scott Clark. The Salesperson told me the car had gone through a 182-point vehicle check. The Finance manager told me that Honda doesn't sell certified pre Clark. The Salesperson told me the car had gone through a 182-point vehicle check. The Finance manager told me that Honda doesn't sell certified pre-owned passports because there are so few of them on the market. Since the car had just over 17,000 miles, I knew the car was still covered by the manufacturer's warranty and was not overly concerned by the finance manager's comment. Before driving off the lot, I connected my phone to the car and as I was driving home, I called my wife. I could hear my wife but she could not hear me. I had the same problem after making several attempts to call her. Then I turned the radio on and after a minute or two, the radio would lose the station. The same issue occurred after several attempts. When I arrived home, I realized that the sensors that detect objects were not working. I returned the car the next day and advise the salesperson that if the car cannot be fixed, I want a full refund towards a different vehicle. I got a loaner, and the dealer kept the vehicle for about a week and could not fix the issues with the vehicle. To discourage me from returning the car, the sales manager told me that the vehicle broke after it was sold to me. He also said that if I were to return the vehicle, it needed to be traded for another vehicle at a loss. I allowed the manager to continue with his nonsensical logic and I made it clear that he can call the return whatever he wishes just as long as I received full credit for the returned Passport. In the end, I got full credit for the returned vehicle and I paid an additional 3k towards a 2023 model which was a certified pre-owned. I was totally disappointed with the level of lies and misrepresentation of the vehicle. I will never buy another vehicle from Scott Clark. I will take my car elsewhere for servicing. More

I did NOT like that the Manager took over the "sales process" of my vehicle and would NOT accept my car's trade-in value from SCOTT CLARK of NISSAN. Therefore Short changing me by $1225.00 even AFTER I process" of my vehicle and would NOT accept my car's trade-in value from SCOTT CLARK of NISSAN. Therefore Short changing me by $1225.00 even AFTER I showed him written proof of my car's value. He definitely represented why people believe car sales men are viewed in a NEGATIVE light. But I wanted and needed the vehicle I purchased so unfortunately I and my husband gave in to the "haggling" over the price, especially after being at the dealership for over 4-hrs! The best part of the experience was the young salesmen who I was INITIALLY dealing with Anthony Ferguson. He was polite, friendly, enthusiastic, and most of all knowledgeable about the hybrid vehicle I was interested in purchasing. The next positive representative at this dealership was Carlos Kurien in the Finance Dept. He was VERY knowledgeable, friendly, and patient about explaining the car's financing to me and my husband. I guess the take-away lesson in all of this is that the Negative person of the "car purchasing experience" did NOT over shadow the Positive people that assisted me in obtaining the vehicle that I wanted and NEEDED.
