We purchased our 2nd Kia Niro on Sunday 1/26/25. We traded in our 2022 Niro. We went into the dealership on 1/25/25, after receiving several calls from them asking us to trade in, we left with no We traded in our 2022 Niro. We went into the dealership on 1/25/25, after receiving several calls from them asking us to trade in, we left with no deal, then went back and forth for another half day on Sunday. We finally made a deal, late on Sunday. We left the dealership a bit after 5 PM. I was prepared to give them another five star review, as the financing was excellent too. However, the next morning, 1/27/25 at 6 AM, I uploaded the app. There was a red star next to messages. It was a recall due to faulty wiring under the passenger side. I was prepared to bring the new vehicle back, and take back my trade. I didn't do so because their service center once again did a great job, got me in right away to check the wiring and let me know the time frame for repair. However, I just can't believe a dealership wouldn't know about a recall on a vehicle before it goes public. For that reason alone, they are getting a one star and we will never purchase a vehicle from them again. Knowing they can't sell a vehicle with a recall, they would have been stuck with this Niro on their lot until the parts came in and wait like we will wait. In all my years of owning vehicles, I've never had a recall on one less than 24 hours after leaving a dealership........ More
