Pleasant experience at Honda of Gainesville w Jordan Hamel I began an online chat with an assistant representing Honda of Gainesville because I received poor service at a different dealership in the city where I began an online chat with an assistant representing Honda of Gainesville because I received poor service at a different dealership in the city where I live in Georgia. The Gainesville assistant connected me with Sales Associate, Jordan Hamel. Jordan was very helpful in answering my questions, and we communicated via text, email, and phone before coming to a final arrangement. He also connected me with his manager, Kelly Meggs, to verify information on the phone. Jordan did not have the car I wanted on the lot and arranged a dealer trade to get the Civic I wanted. In less than a week's time, I was on the lot meeting Jordan in person and driving my new Civic. Jordan explained many of the features as I test drove the car in Gainesville. I expect excellent customer service, and Jordan did not disappoint. I will say, however, that during our meeting, I had a question regarding two features which the addendum stated were part of my package but that the car itself did not reflect . . . pin striping and door guards. I asked about these features. I believe Jordan thought the car already had the features. I do not believe he was trying to "cheat" me on something as he had done nothing up to that point to make me think he was dishonest. I also knew that he is fairly new to the business and has been a sales representative for 8 months. The car had been at his lot for two days prior to my arrival. While it should have already been handled before I got there, Jordan immediately began working to correct the issue once he realized the car did not have those two features that were included in the "agreed upon" final price. Additionally, the car had already been detailed, but I noticed tape residue on the fuel cover area. I pointed it out, and Jordan had it removed. Not knowing if the person who does pin striping could be there that day, Jordan documented what features were "owed" to me at another time in the event that the representative did not get to the dealership that afternoon. The representative later arrived and was able to complete the pin striping and the door guards installation that same day which pleased me since I live two hours away from the dealership. Jordan then escorted me to the finance office where I met with Gerard Stewart. There was a discrepancy in the total amount due by an increase of $200. I pointed it out, and Gerard inquired about the issue and returned to his office with the corrected amount due and reprinted the necessary documents for signatures. Jordan was kind in helping me empty my van of its contents and load everything into my new Honda Civic. He further invited me to contact him anytime with questions about my new car. Since that time, I have texted him with questions, and he has responded promptly and professionally. If I needed to buy a vehicle today, or if my family or friends needed to buy one, I would direct them to Jordan Hamel at Honda of Gainesville. My recommendation has value because I expect honesty, professionalism, and kindness. It is rare to find, and I give praise ONLY when I think it is due. Jordan Hamel did not come across to me as the stereotypical "smarmy" dishonest type of car salesperson. If you want or need to purchase a vehicle, please consider talking with Jordan before you buy anywhere else. Help a decent guy earn a living for his family, and discover that not ALL car sales representatives are bad. More

Jordan was also understanding of our budget and needs, and while I am 100% positive any other salesman at another dealership would have tried to upsell us the EX, Jordan instead explained the difference between the two and let us make the decision without putting any pressure on us. Whether it is your first car-buying experience or third, I recommend you contact Jordan for an honest, stress-free visit to Honda of Gainesville.
