Knowledgeable, professional and friendly! We live 2 hours away from Royal in Vestavia Hills but saw a Volvo XC60 on their website that met all of our criteria. We emailed the dealership with a few questions and Allen Cook sent us back a prompt reply. It was a Saturday afternoon that we decided to take the long drive up to go and see the vehicle. Unfortunately, it was already 4:30 in the afternoon by the time we arrived at the dealership but Allen was more than happy to let us go for a test drive, answer questions and he took the time to show and explain all of the vehicle's many safety and convenience features. It was obvious that Allen knows the cars that he sells very well. After Allen and Sales Manager John McDaniel worked to give us a price that we were satisfied with we decided to make the purchase and were sent to finish up the paperwork with Matt Morgan. All 3 staff members that we dealt with at Royal were great guys and we really appreciate that they stayed past their 6:00 p.m. Saturday closing time to help us drive away from the dealership in our new Volvo. They went ABOVE AND BEYOND! Also, this dealership has a showroom and sales staff dedicated just to the Volvo line. Another dealership that we visited had all of the different vehicle lines that they sell all together in one showroom, which we didn't really care for. We feel that because this dealership seems to have a staff and showroom dedicated specifically to each individual vehicle line that they sell, it makes for a more knowledgeable staff and car buying experience. More
