Sales told us to finance a portion at .9% to save an additional $1,000, we applied online under the guise of VW financing....only to find out once we got to the dealership and turned our TDI in, it was not true. We would have paid cash for the difference, but the salesman sent us to the bank for a cashiers check prior to learning this to save the "$1,000", and were wary for the course, than to only find out, the rate was much higher even though we have excellent credit....FAST Forward, we are owed $524 from the dealership, today is April 6, yet to receive. We did however receive notices from other banks that they shopped our info to, WITHOUT our consent, and that drops one's credit score. STAY AWAY. More

Satisfying a Tough Customer I have been around the block a few times and not easily satisfied or content with some dealer "take it or leave it" offers. There is no last word or ultimatums in negotiations. I have been doing pricing, forecasting and negotiation in the Aerospace industry for more years then I care to remember. I knew what I wanted to pay, what (I felt) was the intrinsic value of a new - prior model year vehicle should be; I was not easily swayed. The dealers initial offering was alright but not great, we were substantially far apart on price and I honestly thought I would have to continue shopping. This is the point in the process were John Lee and I exchanged 12-15 emails, negotiating, expressing opinions & frustrations, sharing a laugh or two. John Lee was honest, knowledgeable and gifted with patient and perseverance. In short he got me the deal - the price I wanted - where I couldn't say no. I live in CT and drove down 290 miles and back to pick up my new MX5.......and I would do it again. John Lee is the man and Fitzgerald is the dealership, accept no substitutes. More

My 3rd purchase from Mr. Fitzgerald I shopped my most recent purchase, a 2017 VW Jetta SE, within a 100 mile radius. I was initially thinking of a late-model used but decided to purchas I shopped my most recent purchase, a 2017 VW Jetta SE, within a 100 mile radius. I was initially thinking of a late-model used but decided to purchase new. My salesperson, Mr. Lee was gracious, a good listener, and quite patient. Once I had made my decision to buy new, I looked for the lowest price. I like the "Fitzway" method of price structure. Mr. Lee advocated for me and got the price I sought. I also purchased the peace of mind that comes with the buyer protection plan having just lost my previous car to a deer strike and having to pay for a rental out of pocket. I know I'll be taken care of after the sale, and I couldn't be happier with the quality of the whole experience as well as the quality of my new Jetta. Truly a pain-free purchase experience. Thanks to all involved, including the F&I department. Service after the sale has been stellar as well... More

This was the BEST car buying experience I've ever had!!!! I called the dealership to ask questions about the Mazda CX5. Salesman, John Lee took the call and answered all of my questions. When I told him that I called the dealership to ask questions about the Mazda CX5. Salesman, John Lee took the call and answered all of my questions. When I told him that I wanted to test drive the car but wasn't able to come into the showroom that day, John offered to bring the car to me at home! I've never heard of this before and didn't even realize this could be an option. I was thrilled and accepted his offer. I loved the car but wanted one that was fully loaded...but they didn't have one at the time in the color I originally wanted (Soul Red with all Black interior). Later that same evening, I decided to go into the dealership to look at a different color combination. John had already gone home for the day. I asked if anyone else could help me with a few questions. Derrek Morton offered to help and didn't look annoyed at all. He was very happy, helpful, and supportive (and it was about 40 minutes before closing). Derek went out of his way to show me the other color option (Soul Red with Sand/Parchment interior). I loved it! I purchased the vehicle the very next day...on Christmas Eve! John sat with me in the car explaining all of the different features and ensuring that I understood and knew how to use everything in it. Wow! I've NEVER had a salesman do that either! John and Derrek were both awesome! Joshua Gutzman (Financing) was wonderful too. Time was of the essence as my bank was closing early on Saturday (after-all, it was Christmas Eve...); Joshua worked quickly to get all of the paperwork done in time for me to take my new car home. I am now the proud owner of a brand new Mazda CX5 Grand Touring (with only 7miles!!!!) Everyone was helpful from beginning to end. Merry Christmas to all!
