Joe has been with Garavel Subaru since March of 2011. Before Garavel Joe owned two Floral businesses for 27 years, that he sold in 2008. Joe is very passionate about golfing, and plays as often as possible. Joe has two kids that are all grown up, and married. He recently rescued a puppy from the Stamford pound, and enjoys playing with him. Joe is also very much into watching football, and boxing as well.

Everyone was friendly and personable, from sales to admin to financing (thanks Tom and Jose!). Joe was fantastic to work with from start to finish, including a handwritten personalized thank you note to follow up after my purchase. He made the process really smooth, got things done straightaway, and personally did or facilitated everything that needed to be done. What could have been a stressful process was pretty straightforward and actually really fun! More

Garavel listens and produces. Went to several dealerships prior to going to Garavel and what a waste of time that was. I knew what I wanted/needed and how much I had to spend. Joe Went to several dealerships prior to going to Garavel and what a waste of time that was. I knew what I wanted/needed and how much I had to spend. Joe W. at Garavel did what no other dealership did: he listened. I explained to Joe W. what I was looking for and what I wanted to spend. He showed me several vehicles that fit my needs and what the cost would be, as I requested, "out the door." We test drove a vehicle and there was absolutely no pressure or gimmicks. He found me a car that fit my needs, just under the price "out the door" that I was looking for. I was taken on a brief tour of the dealership while paperwork was being processed and saw first hand a dealership where people in all departments seemed happy to be there, all with a smile. You can tell the difference between the "fake sincerity" at most dealerships and the "real sincerity" at Garavel. Joe W. and his colleagues at Garavel produced. I left the dealership with a new, used, vehicle and actually feeling good. I am not the type of individual who normally writes reviews but after walking away from such a positive transaction I felt compelled to do so. Dealerships could learn from Joe W. and I mean what I said when I told him while I was driving out, " because of you, Garavel will always be the place I purchase any future vehicles." More
