Wantagh Mazda is the best dealership I have ever been to! I was in the market for a 2015 Mazda CX-5 and called a few Mazda dealerships in the area including one that is just down the street from my house. The I was in the market for a 2015 Mazda CX-5 and called a few Mazda dealerships in the area including one that is just down the street from my house. They all played the same game most dealerships play where they don't want to talk about anything over the phone and are just trying to get you into the dealership. They also were not very helpful with my request for specific features and color combos. Friend's of ours bought their CX-5 from Wantagh Mazda a year ago and I recalled them saying it was a good experience. I gave them a call and spoke with Joe, the sales manager who was absolutely amazing. He was friendly, and took my call seriously. We managed to work most of the deal over the phone which saved me the 30 minute drive from my house to check out if their offer was worth while. They even offered to bring in a car that meets my exact criteria if they didn't have it in stock, at no extra cost. They ended up getting me the exact deal I was asking for and on a 2016 model instead of a 2015! The transaction was extremely smooth and stress free. Their dealership is very small but don't judge a book by it's cover! I would take a small dealership with friendly, honest sales people than a large dealership run by crooks. I will be recommending this dealership to everyone I know and I already have! Another friend of mine also went here to get his CX-5 and had a similar experience. More

I walked into this dealership not knowing what to expect and figured why not give em a try I was a long time customer of Garden City,but this place is I walked into this dealership not knowing what to expect and figured why not give em a try I was a long time customer of Garden City,but this place is a lot closer to my house & in turn I was really pleasantly surprised and pleased!my overall experience was So painless w no pressure and an easy transaction,my salesman David who is from England was extremely courteous and professional working side-by-side with the manager Joe,I had a complicated deal turning in my 2013 Mazda 6 in early of lease trying to upgrade to the 2015 6 Sandy and finance got my average credit approved at a good rate,negotiating was so easy and I got the monthly payment that I can be comfortable with,David deliverdthe car to me showing me everything I needed to know even helped me install my daughter's car seat and set up my Bluetooth ,The entire process when I went to pick up my new car was done within 45 minutes including a full tank of petro!cannot wait to do business again with these fine gentleman!Zoom-Zoom! What An Amazing Experience I am in awe that my experience was such a nice and refreshing one. When it came to buying cars in the past I was always very combative and a real pain I am in awe that my experience was such a nice and refreshing one. When it came to buying cars in the past I was always very combative and a real pain in the neck only due to my past experiences with the sales staff at other dealers. Well this past week August 26th through 28th I was treated like a human and I leased a brand new 2014 CX-9 well within the budget I quoted to them. The SUV is amazing and in all reality the deal went so well because of the experience with the sales staff. I say this because you know when you go to buy any big ticket item (TV's, Appliances, Cars etc...) the sales people are usually not the most welcoming and informative. The main people I dealt with was Vin, Victor & Phil and I can't STRESS enough how WELL they treated me and my family. I live in the area and I didn't want to travel far to purchase a vehicle and the gentlemen at Wantagh Mazda made it very easy for me to be a customer for many years to come. Early in the buying process we had a difference of opinion with the leasing of the CX-9 but these MEN sat down with me and worked very hard to make me feel very comfortable and made me feel as if I was the only customer around. I was in the dealership to look at the car on the 26th for an hour, on both the 26th and 27th we negotiated back and forth on certain items and on the 28th I picked up the SUV. I have NEVER EVER had an easy buying experience as I had with these fine gentleman in all my years of buying/leasing vehicles. If you are looking for a vehicle and you are not sure; YOU better go to Wantagh Mazda and see this staff. I promise you will not be sorry. I walked in and was greeted by Joe Bonavita, one of the salesman. He couldn't have been more friendly and extremely likeable. I told him I was going to turn in my leased Mazda CX9 that I purchased at another dealership, and was looking to purchase another CX9. Well to give you the short version ... He was not letting me leave there without giving me a deal I just couldn't turn down. This was like buying a car from my brother !! He had my best interest in mind the whole time ! I walked out of there that night and said to my wife, Man that was just too easy. Im used to haggling, fighting, and leaving dealerships in disgust !! Well guys I just want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart for making this car buying experience, the best I have ever had !!
