I stopped in to buy a new car, but at the same time my 2017 Yukon XL needed an appointment for service. When I went to the service desk there were 5 workers sitting at desks. No customers. I walked up 2017 Yukon XL needed an appointment for service. When I went to the service desk there were 5 workers sitting at desks. No customers. I walked up to one and asked to make an appointment for my car. She said "no stand by that pole". then one guy called me forward and I told him I needed an appointment. He said oh I can't do that you need to stand by the pole. The others are still not helping anyone, but glued to their computers. VERY FRUSTRATING. I won't be buying a new car there if I can't get service on one I already own. 907-505-0305. My salesman was very helpful. Kelly, but he didn't try to help in the Service department even when I told him I wouldn't buy where I couldn't get service. More

A+ service I experienced a 'check engine' light on a recent visit to Fairbanks. Even though I showed up without an appointment, they were able to fit me right in I experienced a 'check engine' light on a recent visit to Fairbanks. Even though I showed up without an appointment, they were able to fit me right in. Their waiting area is well appointed, with comfortable chairs, complimentary coffee, TV, free WiFi and tables to comfortably work at. There were also snacks and custom coffees available for moderate cost. My truck was diagnosed in a reasonable amount of time, and my service advisor (Bob Revermann) clearly pointed out and explained what needed to be done. I was even escorted to Joe Sharrah's work bay so I could see for myself (with the safety glasses they provided :-) . And while the authorized repairs were being made they kindly shuttled me to a nearby appointment, and picked me up afterwards. On my return, my truck was ready to go - the timing was perfect. For an unforeseen "inconvenience" of having to deal with a 'check engine' light in a city I'm not familiar with, I was thrilled with how everything played out. GM dealers know the meaning of customer service, and Bob and Joe are a shining examples of this. "Thank you!".....and keep up the great work boys! More
