Well Joe , I’m going to go ahead and get my reviews out. Red McCombs Ford West it’s sort of like the Walmart of car dealers nowadays. It seems since Red passed away. The McCombs dealerships have gone dow Red McCombs Ford West it’s sort of like the Walmart of car dealers nowadays. It seems since Red passed away. The McCombs dealerships have gone downhill and become like every other used car dealership in San Antonio. Which is a shame because it used to not be that way. When you find a vehicle online , and you call the dealership then you have the salesman send you a sales sheet and agree on a price. They text you congratulations and give you a date and time to come pick up the vehicle. . At that point you would think you have a deal. (Legally you have a deal) You would think that paying them $79,000 for a vehicle was a significant thing. It really isn’t , because they’re moving vehicles through there like cattle. They have salesman that work on incentives fight amongst each other take signs off of vehicles do all the things that your cute little used car dealers do that red McCombs formerly didn’t. So if you want to buy a car from every other dealer in town or Carvana or Carfax or any of the online services Red McCombs is fine because they’re absolutely no different than any of these whatsoever. Also when they try to charge you $2995 for their blue car warranty or whatever they call it. That’s actually a scam that goes into the salesman’s pocket and goes towards the sales managers, end-of-the-year bonus. Tax on a vehicle 6.25%. The other fees are all negotiable. So I can handle all the back-and-forth on them being cute with numbers what I can’t handle is the lying and dishonesty of a deal being made, and then the dealership selling out from underneath the customers More
