I bought my 2019 Chevy Tahoe from Ron Westphal at the end of January 2023. First off, the dealership labeled it as a “Certified” Chevy. I wasn’t able to take my vehicle home the night I bought it which was n of January 2023. First off, the dealership labeled it as a “Certified” Chevy. I wasn’t able to take my vehicle home the night I bought it which was no problem, reason being that it needed to be inspected to “Certify” it and also needed to be sent out for a “full detail” because they had just received the vehicle in. I was told the next day by the end of the day it would be ready for me to receive. That next day after I received a call from the dealership that my vehicle was ready, I returned to pick it up. My vehicle was FILTHY inside as well as out. Nothing was wiped down including the windows, the leather seats were sticky and gross, the carpet was not cleaned and the window sticker residue was STILL ON THE WINDOW! I expressed my disappointment to my salesman which he immediately agreed and said that the vehicle would need to be kept and that he would resend it out and except himself when it came back. My salesman called me the next day so I returned to the dealership to receive my vehicle. AGAIN FOR THE SECOND TIME my car was STILL FILTHY inside and out…NOTHING CHANGED!!! I was beyond angry, I told my salesman to just give me my vehicle and that I would be on my way. June had arrived and I was due for my first oil change as well as having a trailering braker controller installed by the dealership service department so that any warranties wouldn’t be voided in anyway. As I turned my car in, I also mentioned to the Service Rep that a squeaking noice could be heard from around my car when I started to apply my brakes. I also explained that that’s all it was, no grinding or shaking when I applied the brakes just the squeaking. Approximately 1/2 later I was told by the Service Rep that my vehicle needed new pads and rotors all the way around, but since I bought the vehicle there, it was before 12 months and 12K miles (because of the bumper to bumper warranty I got because it was “Certified”) that it was covered. Fast forward to 10/12/23 (not even 9 moths after I bought this vehicle) my Tahoe would not start as I was leaving work. I was able to jump it and drive it home. Upon my arrival at home I shut my vehicle off, tried to restart it and it would not turn over. I had decided that night I needed to call into work for the next day and get my vehicle to the dealership to see about them replacing the battery. The next day I again tried to start my vehicle so I could get it to the dealership and it would not start. I was able to hook up a vehicle jump pack and it started up right away. I arrived to the dealership just as they opened, from prior vehicle service I know most of the Service Reps, Rick walked over to assist me. I “attempted” to explain to Rick what my issue was. He wouldn’t even listen to my full and complete issue, but to dismiss my issue with “The battery is normal wear and tear, we don’t replace dead batteries.”My situation was not “normal” if Rick would of heard me out. What Rick failed to understand was that I had just bought this so called “Certified” vehicle from the dealership he worked for on January 26 2023 and that there was NO WAY October 12 2023 I should have to replace the battery not even 9 months into ownership of my vehicle. Rick continued to repeat himself, that if they worked on my vehicle he didn’t know when it would be done and that “He didn’t make the rules, he just had to follow them”. I didn’t ask Rick to break the rules and that if Rick would of just took the time to listen to me as a customer perhaps go to Management and ask what should be done in my case. What is the point of “Certifying” a vehicle, backing it with a 12 month / 12K warranty if when items that were looking like they needed replacement such as brakes and rotors or an original battery that came in the vehicle. I thought that Chevy puts their vehicles they stamp “Certified” through a rigorous inspection before they sell on their lot? I guess not…beware of “Certified”! More

Great Customer Service Experience My salesman at this dealership, Brian Crunican, was super helpful and friendly. He found me the right vehicle for the right price and gave me a fair price for my trade in. The whole process only took a few hours, and it was absolutely the best experience I have ever had at a car dealership. The financing was very reasonable because they have plenty of options available for people with decent credit. Before I left with my new truck, Brian made sure that I was familiar with the new technology in my new Silverado. He also was very helpful in assisting me with my personal belongings and making sure that the vehicle had license plates and plenty of fuel. What a great buying experience! It was definitely a breath of fresh air compared to any other dealership that I have visited. Thank you to everyone at Ron Westphal Chevrolet for making sure that I received the best customer service possible. More

Over Promise & Under Deliver All I have to say, they did not seem to be all that interested in making a sale. I was in a unique situation that had me stuck in a rental car and had All I have to say, they did not seem to be all that interested in making a sale. I was in a unique situation that had me stuck in a rental car and had to find a new set of wheels. I always had to call them, Danny never returned phone calls. Had been looking at multiple vehicles, new and used. Finally made a decision to purchase a truck that was inbound, they said they would call me when they had a better idea of build date, even offered to put me in a loaner until the new truck arrived to save costs on car rental.. I called twice to check status of the truck, first time I called a week later after confirming that I could make changes to the new truck, received a call 1 day later, second time, was told they would call me back, has now been over 6 weeks and never received that call back. Oh well, they have lost a customer, made it real easy, all they had to do was what they said they would and actually have the courtesy to return a phone call. Never mind the fact I purchased from this dealership back in 2008. They did a xxxx of a job to maintain a previous customer..NOT! More
