We were looking for months for the perfect vehicle and came across a beautiful Volvo. Jimmy offered it to us to test out for the weekend and we decided to buy it. I was not comfortable with the salesmanship of Jimmy, but we kept going with the purchase. When it came time for paperwork to be signed, we learned that there was only one key fob which again, was not ideal. Jimmy brushed it off like it was no big deal and maybe they could help with a second fob. Turns out, nope they could not. We called Volvo and we were told it would cost us $700 for a second fob. This is something that is absolutely necessary for starting the car remotely, so we really need it. We called the manager to explain that we were going to be out the $700 after spending a huge amount with them, and we got "sorry, nothing we can do here." I wish we would have gone directly to Volvo first because I really am not happy with Capitol. Also, the detailing job they did was pretty crappy and they left candy and sticky stuff all over the back center console. We put our own gas in it when we tested it out and that's what we were left with when we picked it up. Like, really Capitol??? More

I purchased a used truck from this dealership 2 1/2 months ago with less than 36,000 miles on it. The buying experience was fantastic, and everyone I interacted with was kind and professional. Unfortunately, when the starter failed so soon after the purchase, I assumed they would stand by their product and help resolve the issue—especially since I was going to buy four new tires and would have had all future service work done there. Instead, they chose not to assist, which I found to be both disappointing and a very surprising business decision. Over the years, I could have been a loyal customer, and they would have made thousands from me just off service, not to mention likely repeat purchases and referrals from doing the right thing, but this experience has changed my mind. While the people are nice, especially Jimmy, I’d stay away from this dealership, because they don’t prioritize taking care customers even when doing so is financially the best thing for their business... which is really strange. I hope they reconsider how they handle situations like this in the future. If they reach out to make this right, I’d be happy to update this review and reconsider sticking with them. I really do like the people that I’ve dealt with directly. Maybe the person that made the decision, which never actually spoke to me, didn’t have all the info or was just having a bad day, at least I’d like to think that’s the case. More

Everyone at the dealership was very nice I really enjoyed doing business with them. The only reason I didn’t give them a five star rating was after negotiating directly with the salesman and sales manager we doing business with them. And all is good they were having the truck brought in from another location about 35 miles away. And when it got there. I Loved it. When I got in the finance office Andy was great but the payment went up about $50.00 from what we agreed on. And then I did buy an extended warranty which shot it up another $100.00. But that also included GAP. “NEWS FLASH” here is a quote from my State Farm agent. “Buy your GAP policy from the dealer “” it’s way better coverage so I ended up a little over $150.00 more than what we had discussed. But a little over a $100. Of that was GAP and extended warranty. I’m very happy with the Truck and the people at the Capitol CDJR in Willimantic CT. as well as there other dealership in New London where I bought some accessories. OH right before I left I noticed a small Dent in the hood I mean small. But it is a brand new truck. They jumped right on it scheduling to get it fixed and changed the paperwork to show that they owed me to get that repaired. So that’s great. I really have nothing bad to say.
