My experience with the salesman Jesus was very disappointing. He was unprofessional and refused to honor the agreed-upon out-the-door price unless we financed through the dealership. When we said we wanted to use our own pre-approved financing, he said the price would increase by $2,000. Even though we were still willing to buy the car without the college rebate or their financing, he wouldn’t let us use our own loan. Jesus could have informed us before I he ran our credit * that if we didn't use their financing we would have pay more for the car.* His demeanor and body language were dismissive and unwelcoming, which made the experience even more uncomfortable. I was willing to negotiate. Thankfully, we went to Courtesy Toyota of Brandon, where the process was simple, transparent, and professional from start to finish. I purchased a Toyota 4Runner over a month ago at this dealership. The sales staff was nice and accomodating. I paid cash, by wire for the vehicle and picked it up the next day. I get a call 2 weeks later that my "paperwork" has been lost. He wants to overnight new paperwork. It takes 5 days for the "overnight" to arrive, which I sogn and send out. 2 weeks later, I recieve an email that they need additional paperwork, as now they are just now starting to work on my title work. I emailed back that a manager should call me, which still has not happened.. When calling, they screen the call and no manager WILL ANSWER THE PHONE! AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE!! More
