I think we were the first customer of Volvo's first EV, the XC40 Recharge. The dealer was woefully unprepared. They had no knowledge of the federal tax credit. They failed to update the Google Infotainment the XC40 Recharge. The dealer was woefully unprepared. They had no knowledge of the federal tax credit. They failed to update the Google Infotainment system, so it wasn't working upon delivery. They failed to inform us that Volvo misrepresented the readiness of the vehicle. The Volvo On Call system is critical for an EV, and Volvo communicated in writing that it was ready. The dealer was either not knowledgeable of this (which would be shocking enough) or they intentionally continued the same misrepresentation. Now we've got a vehicle that we are able to drive, but many many problems. Tony Garcia was very nice though. More
