They were the worst dealership I've ever visited. They did a deal all funded then GM saw trade value. Called bank and unwound deal. We now have to sue for damages and credit hits. Great end result. This was vehicle #5 purchased from the David Stanley family of dealerships, and #3 from David Stanley Chevrolet in Norman. We initially had some pretty big issues and impasses that we couldn't get past. Then Jerry Effinger got involved. Once he became involved and learned the full extent of everything that had occurred with this deal he wanted to make sure that the issue was resolved and we were taken care to his standards. I would like to personally thank Jerry for taking ownership of this deal and seeing it through. I highly recommend working with Jerry and will not hesitate in the future to work with him on our future vehicle needs. More

Just looking My wife and i just went into the dealership to look for a new equinox. We were greeted by BIG AL he was very friendly and professional. My wife and i just could not agree to disagree.He took us right to the suv i was looking for it was perfect. We sat down to do the deal .I was expecting to haggle alot with him for just the right payment and my trade in value . I could not believe it it went so smooth . Everyone from the lady at the front to every employee that we ran into they were all great. next was the finance officer the last little bit i thought here we go again we are going to be here all night. I was completely wrong they shattered all my thoughts on buying a new car you all know what i am saying.It went so smooth with the payments and the bank they were financing the car through before you know it instead of just looking i was cleaning out my old car and driving away with my dream car . I have shopped here for my last 3 cars and always went smooth . I would recommend this place to anybody Big al made my day . I believe that without him and the way he carries himself if i would have even took the time to look . Made me feel very comfortable like he was my friend looking out for me .He had my back . This is one customer that has done a 180 about this dealer! We originally were having a bad experience (purchased a car, salesman was not honest with us) and thought we were just out of luck & buyer beware, the We originally were having a bad experience (purchased a car, salesman was not honest with us) and thought we were just out of luck & buyer beware, then Jerry Effinger at David Stanley personally took on our issue, and got everything worked out! The original sales person no longer works at the dealership, and Jerry personally took care of everything! It was quite an ordeal for him, too but he never blinked an eye! He got the problems with the car we purchased completely taken care of, a rental car for us for 3+ weeks, and all at no cost to us! On a used vehicle! I will say that Jerry Effinger is personally responsible for creating a customer for LIFE of David Stanley Chevrolet in Norman! Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you!!! You guys have rocked, and Jerry was nothing short of amazing - honest, caring and very professional, patient & compassionate! More

Daughter's First Car Every experience was a nice change from other dealerships we visited. I first stared with talking to Jerry Effinger on the phone and then met him and Every experience was a nice change from other dealerships we visited. Both gentlemen were easy to work with and knowledgeable about the cars they had in inventory. My husband was not able to be with me so it was nice not feeling pressured or lied to. Norman is an hour and a half drive for me but I would make that trip again if I was looking at vehicles. Thanks for helping me get my daughter in her first car! More

After the sale he was there to help me move Items from my old vehicle to the new/used 2012 Tahoe, and that was a first for me to get that level of help. Before I left John explained every item from the electronics to auto start and etc. My thanks to all at David Stanley Chevrolet of Norman. The sales department was super in working a payment that I could afford as a low income senior. I received a good price for my SUV on the trade in price.
