Drew is the best car salesperson I have ever worked with! I never felt like he was trying to sell me anything but rather helping me find the right match for me. He was friendly and knowledgeable, patiently answered all of my questions, and gave me frequent updates throughout the entire process. He made me feel like his most important customer, which of course wasn’t the case, but very nice to feel that way! Thomas was also super helpful in getting me set up with a test drive appointment right away and tracking down specifically what I was looking for. The entire Leif Johnson team made the entire process so easy for me, and I had a great experience! More

4/22/2025 To Whom It May Concern: MY EXPERIENCE PURCHASEING A VEHICLE WITH LEIF JOHNSON FORD HAS BEEN HORRIBLE!!!! On 3/24/2025 I met with Daryl Quintanilla look at a 2020 Chevy Colorado (vin# 1 PURCHASEING A VEHICLE WITH LEIF JOHNSON FORD HAS BEEN HORRIBLE!!!! On 3/24/2025 I met with Daryl Quintanilla look at a 2020 Chevy Colorado (vin# 1GCGTDEN5L1196436). After driving the 2020 Chevy Colorado I decided to purchase that vehicle and in turn trade in my 2012 Lincoln MKX (vin# 2LMDJ6JKXCBL11018) and a 2005 Chevy Colorado (1GCDS136458132978) and put down additional $5,075.00 cash. Mr. Quintanilla (salesman) was pleasant to deal with during this transaction. I then met with Jerry Bustamante (finance officer) and signed the paper work and he was also pleasant to deal with. I did not elect to purchase the extended warranty that was offered during this transaction, since it was my intention to purchase my own warranty separately and pay it in full each year since I did not want to have it combined with the vehicle interest payments. After Mr. Quintanilla had the vehicle washed and detailed, I left the dealership and approximately 30-35 miles down the road the transmission and/or torque converter started slipping and the whole truck was shaking. I had to slow down to approximately 45 mph just to keep the vehicle from shaking and jumping. Since the dealership was now closed at this time, I had no other option but to continue to my home, which was another 30 miles. The first thing the next morning (3/25/2025) I contacted Mr. Quintanilla and informed him what was going on. He agreed to come and pick-up the vehicle and take it be checked and repaired. When he picked up this vehicle, he also took the 2005 Chevy Colorado thus leaving me with no personal transportation. His comment was that Leif Johnson has rentals, but offered no other help. I have been fortunate enough to borrow a vehicle from my son-in-law for my daily transportation. As you can see it is now going into 5 weeks and I still do not have a vehicle, nor do I know if/or when the vehicle I purchased will be returned to me. Did Leif Johnson sell me a LEMON ? At this time I would like some answers. What are going to be my options if this is a recurring problem with this vehicle? 2. Also the first payment to Austin Telco Federal Credit Union is due 5/8/2025. Am I going to be stuck making payments on a vehicle I don’t even have possession of?
