Purchased a 2020 black grand Jeep Cherokee Trackhawk from Los Angeles Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram on June 22, 2023, the sales person was Luciano Arrendondo. This vehicle was a gift to me from my boyfriend. Bec Los Angeles Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram on June 22, 2023, the sales person was Luciano Arrendondo. This vehicle was a gift to me from my boyfriend. Because we live in Virginia, we had to have it shipped from California to here. Prior to, did a walk around via video/FaceTime. Noticed that the tires needed replaced. We brought that up. When the engine hood was popped, I noticed there was a cool air intake on it. When it was confirmed, I asked him if they would leave it on. He said he would look into it. There were a couple other issues that needed to be addressed before the car was shipped. He didn’t get back to me about the cold air intake. The day it was being shipped, I asked about it, and he said they had to put the car back to the exact manufacturer specification in order to sell the vehicle with the Mopar warranty that we purchased (that is a whole other story). I asked if he could ship it with the car, he said no. He also stated that the car was in great shape, that the client that owned it prior was a very good client of theirs and he is trading cars in all the time so if I have any questions they could ask him but they could not give me his number. I reached out to the dealer a couple of times with questions after taking delivery of the vehicle, I received one very brief returned call, with a promise to call me back. However, I found a business card of the previous owner in the vehicle and tried to reach out to him, to no avail. When doing the walk around via video, I saw there was a tiny blue light under the dash that periodically lit up, probably the size of a pea. I asked the sales person what it was, he said he had no idea, but he would find out. To no avail. Upon taking delivery of the vehicle I asked him what all the stuff around the door handles, antenna, side mirrors was… It looked like it had been wrapped. He stated, “he thought that it was, but they took it all off.” Well they didn’t take it all off, their staff took it off everywhere that was easy instead of doing it the right way by taking the door apart to get it off from around the handles, rearview mirror, and antenna, by the way, I never heard back from him.We needed to get tags and before you can get tags you have to have an inspection. The tires had no tread, we purchased the tires and had them mounted and then scheduled an appointment to have it inspected. When we got to the inspection station, it FAILED. Not only did it have a small crack that I never noticed in the windshield, but also the rotors were warped, and the brake pads were down to a nub, if that…. therefore, we had to take it back home & order Rotors and Brake Pads SMH … $$$$$ and reschedule an appointment to take it back for re-inspection. Paid the inspection station to put the new rotors and brake pads on, repair the windshield (that did not hold), but also to look at the AC because at that time I felt the air wasn’t very cold or power. They said I should probably take it back to the dealer … but at least I passed inspection to get out of there & was able to get tags & an inspection decal. Not too many days later, the AC was blowing hot air; weirdly enough, little ice pellets were spitting out of the vents. Took it to the Jeep dealer here in Warrenton, Virginia, they said it just needed Freon. A few weeks later, I had to take it back to the dealer to find out … it wasn’t the Freon, it needed a compressor (the Freon $$$$ wasn’t covered under the warranty for some reason). A couple more months went by, and it felt like the transmission was slipping. I called&scheduled an appointment for a few days from then. However, a couple days after that, I was driving back from a job, as my job is Mobile,& the 707 hp motor felt like a 4-cylinder motor. Called Safford of Warrenton again, told them Im bringing it now because I didn’t think I would make it anywhere else. I dropped it off Dec. 29, 2023, & its still there today. Cont'd on nxt revw More
