If I could give zero stars, I would. I brought my car into McGrath Honda for what was supposed to be a simple emissions system issue. Instead of diagnosing the actual problem, I was hit I brought my car into McGrath Honda for what was supposed to be a simple emissions system issue. Instead of diagnosing the actual problem, I was hit with an outrageous upsell attempt totaling $4,300 — including a full serpentine belt replacement, complete spark plug change, and an $800 purge valve replacement (the only item that even remotely addressed the original issue). Against my better judgment - there is a $230 fee for diagnosis either way - I went with the purge valve replacement for $800. Only to find out later it did absolutely nothing to fix the issue, about 5 miles later the same check engine light came right back on. Took my car to a different, honest mechanic who correctly diagnosed and resolved the problem with a minor Mass Air Flow sensor fix for just $200. When I tried to contact McGrath Honda to get an explanation, a refund, or even a basic acknowledgment of their mistake, Nick and Jeremy were completely unresponsive and unhelpful. Extremely unprofessional. It’s clear that this service department prioritizes upselling and profit over honesty and customer care. If you value transparency, fairness, or simply want your car fixed correctly the first time — do yourself a favor and take your business elsewhere. I am already advising all of my friends and family to avoid this place. More

Couple years ago my button which starts the car died. I was charged $200 for diagnostics to see if warranty covers part. It was covered, service mgr refused to credit it. After waisting lot of time making call Honda agreede to refund, check must be in the mail, havn`t received. Also be careful buying extended, I`m paying $600+ per year. I`m in year 4, not even oil change or tire rotation is covered. Been waiting for reply on what`s covered, but even a simple question like that is taking all day to answer. They told me not to worry their "team" is working on reply. More
