Have a 2018 Ford Edge with 68,000 miles that has been diagnosed with a coolant intrusion issue, where the only remedy is to completely replace the engine. Went in for assistance to replace engine or trad diagnosed with a coolant intrusion issue, where the only remedy is to completely replace the engine. Went in for assistance to replace engine or trade-in. Did not get any service done or look at any cars as they had no interest in helping. It is a well known issue due to a design flaw in the engine (which was redesigned in 2020). Park Ford is not offering any discount for engine replacement and offered $200 as a trade-in value. Both service department and sales department employees couldn't care less. This common issue impacts 2013-2019 Ford Escape, 2013-2019 Ford Fusion, 2015-2018 Ford Edge, 2017-2019 Lincoln MKC and 2017-2019 Lincoln MKZ vehicles with 1.5L, 1.6L, and 2.0L Ecoboost engines. Ford has a TSB on it, but no recall. Buyer beware if purchasing a used Ford vehicle. They aren't disclosing the defect to customers. Only hope is a class action lawsuit that can take years. Was advised to call corporate. Agents at corporate give a case number and read a statement saying there is no recall for it and not to expect anything. More

Park Ford is an excellent Dealership for both purchasing and service. I have been going to Park Ford for over 50 years (starting when they were in South Yonkers), over that time period they have never faile and service.
