I have three recommendations that are needed to improve service: 1. Ability to track ordered parts status. I can order a part from an auto parts store and have status of its shipping and delivery date. service: 1. Ability to track ordered parts status. I can order a part from an auto parts store and have status of its shipping and delivery date. Chevrolet/GM cannot. They had no idea when or if the needed part for my vehicle would arrive. 2. Follow up work should get immediate attention. When I received my repaired vehicle, a collateral issue had occurred - it was 3 days (Friday afternoon to Wednesday noon) before it was even looked at. Once looked at, the resolution was quick. I found this unacceptable - making a customer wait another half week to correct and error they induced. 3. The Service Manager should care to contact a customer if requested. I had a question my service rep said should be answered by the Service Manager. He was to get the Manager to call me. It didn't happen. I waited a day and called the Manager. Never heard from him. More

I recently took my 2011 camaro with 155k miles in to lynn layton chevolet for a transmission service and tires per mike davis service advisor. When i got my car back I started having transmission issues like layton chevolet for a transmission service and tires per mike davis service advisor. When i got my car back I started having transmission issues like slipping and not going into gears properly and I took it back 2 weeks later. Obviously they left my transmission 2 quarts low on fluid because when they refilled the transmission it developed a air pocket when they refilled it. They gave me 2 options drive it till it tears up or replace it for 6k plus but they added fluid to make it at the correct level when I took it back they said they got it to slip 1 time in test drive but they didnt want to admit they left it 2 quarts low to begin with and I tried to discuss a compromise and a resolution since they went into a perfectly good transmission and they refused said they done nothing wrong and wont admit they added fluid to it to make it full after the test drive and got the transmission to slipped 1 time in test drive . Took it to another dealer for second opion and they said my transmission was perfect and fluid level was full!! So if you value your vehicle DO NOT take it to lynn layton for anything all about money and show and volume not quality or service!!!! I will not take any vehicle to them ever again!!!!!!! More
