First, I want to say that Jeff was great to work with. He was responsive, friendly and professional from start to finish. However, I have to only give the dealership as a whole a 2-star experience because He was responsive, friendly and professional from start to finish. However, I have to only give the dealership as a whole a 2-star experience because the process was not smooth for me at all. Maybe Merchants doesn't register a lot of cars in Massachusetts, but the entire process took over 3 weeks to complete. There seemed to be a lot of miscommunication between Merchants and the finance partner, First Citizens Bank. The terms of my loan were not fully disclosed at the beginning and kept evolving as the transaction moved along. I felt First Citizens was not fully transparent about their financing fees, nor the timing or other requirements needed to complete this transaction. I was approved for the loan instantly, but then the process really took a turn and I almost pulled the entire deal due to a very rude phone encounter with the representative from First Citizens Bank. In the end, I received my work van and I am happy with the vehicle. But the process was not smooth. I would have to seriously debate whether to use Merchants again for my next commercial vehicle purchase. More

Purchasing my new sprinter van with Merchant Auto was a great experience. They made the whole process very easy and helped me get financing through my busines. Would highly recommend. Very poor experience. I purchased the vehicle over 2 weeks ago and still haven't received it. Communication has been lacking and I've had to take time out of my day to mak I purchased the vehicle over 2 weeks ago and still haven't received it. Communication has been lacking and I've had to take time out of my day to make multiple phone calls to get any information. What's worse is that it doesn't seem to matter to them. More

It's been 3 weeks since my bank sent them the money and I still haven't recieved the vehicle. It's currently looking like I won't receive it until week 4, hopefully before I have to make my first payment C still haven't recieved the vehicle. Now that they have my money they seem to have no interest in getting me the vehicle in a timely manner or communicating with me. Horrible experience and I wouldn't recommend purchasing here at all! More

Typical corporate company that only cares about making a sale . Bought a van for $34,000.00 . I picked it up in New Hampshire checked it out quick and drove home . When I first spoke to Jeff he said it t sale . Bought a van for $34,000.00 . I picked it up in New Hampshire checked it out quick and drove home . When I first spoke to Jeff he said it takes them 3 weeks to prepare a vehicle to be sold. He said they go through the van meticulously to make sure everything is in tip top shape . This is not the case , they just wiped the dashboard down with some rags and call it a day . While I was at the dealership I found a few things wrong . I found a missing rooftop light and the mirror was missing . I asked the salesman Jeff about it and he got me a new light that I had to install myself and told me there isn’t mirrors on these because they don’t have windows . I looked around the van and found the rear view tucked away up top with about 500 candy wrappers leaves and other trash . On my way home I realized one of the windows makes a horrible noise when rolled down , the driver side window is missing weather stripping , and the ceiling of the van was dirty as xxxx when I put light to it . There are fingerprints and smudges all over it . I emailed my concerns to Jeff a day or two after buying the vehicle and he said he would call me . Few weeks later and still not call. I’m not one of those annoying customers who’s going to keep calling I just won’t ever recommend or use these people every again as my business grows . I’m already looking for more vans elsewhere .
