They call right back or answer when you are wanting to purchase a vehicle; however, they are not friendly or helpful when returning a lease vehicle. They refused to take the keys unless it was on their t purchase a vehicle; however, they are not friendly or helpful when returning a lease vehicle. They refused to take the keys unless it was on their time even if it was past my lease end date which would cause me problems, the receptionist kept hanging up on me, and the manager told me even though my car has been on the lot for 24 hours he was going to say it wasn’t returned or not ground it making me still liable. I would not recommend this place to anyone! More

Poor experience I've been leasing my Silverado through Cable Dahmer for the last year. I love the truck and decided it was time to buy outright so I went in this week I've been leasing my Silverado through Cable Dahmer for the last year. I love the truck and decided it was time to buy outright so I went in this week to purchase early. I was very happy with the original transaction; my second encounter with this dealership went south quickly. First, they tried to push a high finance rate and my sales person told me, "just talk to the finance guys". They finally came down two points when I said I would finance with my bank. Not sure why I would need to haggle over the rate as I was told it would be based on my credit worthiness. The initial paperwork had purchase price and then a line item for "rebate" which increased the purchase price (not sure how that works). When I pushed back, the "rebate" fee was removed. Was told I would need to pay $500 to have the vehicle inspected prior to purchase; when I objected to this fee it was removed. Finally, when I went to sign the paperwork, the numbers didn't add up. I quickly did the math and realized they were adding in an additional $500 that was not accounted for anywhere on the paperwork (no line item or explanation). At the end of the day, gross oversight or flat out dishonesty made me uncomfortable moving forward. I did receive several text messages/ calls from the sales manager, Jeff Davis after I left offering to bring the paperwork to my house. Unfortunately, even after a good experience previously, I won't be doing business with this dealership moving forward. I called GM and can purchase the vehicle directly. More

From the initial phone call to me driving off the lot, he genuinely exceeded my expectations of traditional car salesmen. Not only was he instrumental in keeping me within budget, he also was very knowledgeable about his product. Aspects of new technologies that I wasn't even aware of, was simplified and made practical through his thorough presentation. I am blown away!!! Since my purchase, he has called to make sure that I am completely satisfied and even sent a handwritten postcard thanking me for my business! I have told all of my friends and family who are in the market or even considering to purchase about "The" Kynan Ramsey...he's the man! All of the staff were very friendly and the facility is very family friendly as well. Because of my experience @ Cable Dahmer Chevrolet of Kansas City, I will forever be loyal! More

BUYER BEWARE!!! ASK HOW MUCH IS THE SALES TAX??? I initially dealt with a nice gentlemen Brian Roberts, he was new to his position & it was clear. After spending hours with him & not getting anywhere I initially dealt with a nice gentlemen Brian Roberts, he was new to his position & it was clear. After spending hours with him & not getting anywhere, I requested my keys back to my banged up trade in I drove into the dealership. Then I met with another guy named , Jeff Davis. Of course, his job is to save the sale & keep my trade in out of sight. He succeeded. He introduced me to Clint Albin, to help save me from walking out. I advised Clint of what I could afford. Being a single mom, we pushed for a vehicle I wanted with a higher note. I agreed to that. After meeting with Jamie Burke a few times in finance, I was given all my paperwork. Went to DMV to register the vehicle & was advised it was going to cost over $2000 to register it. They also turned me away & said the vehicle could not be registered due to a “JUMP” title. I wasn’t familiar with the term & they advised because the person whose name was before theirs on the title, need to get the vehicle titled in their name. (Is this legal?!?) From one headache to another…All I wanted is decent transportation for my daughter & I. When I called back to get this resolved, I’m being told you signed a document stating sales tax was not included. “There is a sign on my desk, that states no sales tax”. I have been told management has been in meetings for about (2) days now. REALLY? I came into this dealership, with hopes to do business with folks of integrity. I shook hands based on that! It’s very unfortunate this deal leaves me disappointed & the feeling of never trust a used car dealer again. Cable-Dahmer wants returning long term customers, how can this goal be obtained when you’re not doing business with integrity? Update: Early this month I received a revised notarized letter stating "No Intent to Fraud" More

Earned my Business for Years to Come!! These guys were awesome! I can't even begin to explain the amount of issues that I was having at other dealerships. To make it short I will leave it These guys were awesome! I can't even begin to explain the amount of issues that I was having at other dealerships. To make it short I will leave it at that. Cable-Dahmer was able to verify my Business Financial History, get me financed on two vehicles and get me out the door in a very short period of time. Time is money and waisting over a week dealing with others resulted in my loss, but Darnell, Chris and their team helped lessen the impact of any such loss. I can honestly say that I feel as if I have gained business affiliates and more than that, friends. These guys understood my need and treated my wife and I with great kindness. We went in to purchase an inexpensive used car and came out with a brand new car with good terms. They did a great job listening and helping our situation turn into a better one. We visited other dealerships in the area and Cable-Dahmer had the best customer service by far. This was a great experience. More

Kynan Ramsey is AMAZING I have been looking to upgrade my car and have gone to many dealerships to test drive cars. Until I pulled into Cable Dahmer and met Kynan Ramsey, my I have been looking to upgrade my car and have gone to many dealerships to test drive cars. Until I pulled into Cable Dahmer and met Kynan Ramsey, my experiences at other dealerships were very unpleasant. From the first interaction on the phone to the people at the front desk and most certainly Kynan - the culture and people at Cable Dahmer clearly understand customer service and they enjoy what they do. I found the perfect car and from beginning to end, the treatment was superb! I test drove the car over night and they even washed my old car so that it would be clean when I came in to trade. I never intended on giving the new car back so cleaning my old car was especially 5 star treatment. Kynan understood that this was a big investment and that I was still attached to my old car. All around an outstanding company and I have been telling everyone that is interested in shopping for a different car to call Kynan and visit Cable Dahmer. Thank you for making the experience so great! More
