On Friday, July 5th, I put a deposit of $500 on a 2020 Shelby GT500. I drove from RI to New York to look at the vehicle the following Monday. I was interested in the vehicle however I asked if the vehicle Shelby GT500. I drove from RI to New York to look at the vehicle the following Monday. I was interested in the vehicle however I asked if the vehicle was going to pass inspection since there seemed to be modifications to the vehicle. They checked and the vehicle failed inspection. I informed them that I was still interested in the vehicle however the issue needs to be resolved so keep me updated on the repair status. Both the Sales Manager and the Service Manager agreed. Per my discussions with them they took the vehicle in as a trade and didn't inspect the vehicle. Two weeks went by and I didn't receive any updates or return calls to my voicemails. I finally got a hold of the sales associate who told me the vehicle was sent to the auction and the manager should have informed me. I told her no one ever followed up with me and I need my $500 refund. Her response was well I'm with a customer so text me the info or come back to get your refund. Really!!! I'm going to drive from RI to NY for something that can be done over the phone? This dealership is very unprofessional...stay away! I've already reported them to my credit card bank and will be contacting Tasca Autogroup who just acquired Scarsdale Ford to report the issue. Very poor customer service!!! More
