They added on -without asking me- a lot of extra charges. Avoid the overpriced warranty. At first they wanted $3,500 for 24 months. That's a ripoff. They lowred to same price for 60 months....good thing I asked about it! Also, don’t agree to pay extra bogus charges (I got stuck with 2 extra strange warranty items which were not presented as an option totaling $700. Still waiting for refund of those....) Bring to your mechanic before purchasing! They will not honor anything on your return. The car had fumes entering cabin from rusty a-pipe. I texted the salesman the very next day about it, yet they still made me pay half for the replacement/repair even though I only had the car for 1 day. It was clearly a health and safety issue. Indeed, they shouldn’t have sold a car with a rusted exhaust pipe. Makes you question their pre-sale prep. Probably a sham. Also vehicle had a loud squeak coming from rear. They looked and said it was to be expected for “used” car. I had to pay more and have my mechanic go over the vehicle and he found it. It was simple: the spare tire was loose and causing a loud squeaking sound! Honda couldn't find that simple issue. The service desk agent said, over and over, and I quote...'You have to remember, its a "used" car'. They're gonna make sounds....' . In summary: Don’t be fooled by the reputable Honda name. Its just on the sign. No values here. Follow-up...my personal auto mechanic says he just loves Honda of Toms River...because as long as they keep selling used cars with serious problems, he'll always be busy!... More
