TLDR: DO NOT BUY FROM ANY BEAU TOWNSEND DEALERSHIP! I purchased a “certified used” 2021 F150 it was supposed to be certified through Fords program. The truck had several broken parts inside the cab. I I purchased a “certified used” 2021 F150 it was supposed to be certified through Fords program. The truck had several broken parts inside the cab. I was told they were under warranty but that I’d have to make time and schedule the appointments and wait to get them fixed myself. They could have easily fixed these issues while it sat on their lot, but they didn’t. After that 24 hours into owning the vehicle a cigarette smoke odor that was barely noticeable, started getting stronger and stronger. I don’t know what they used, but they covered up the smell before I got there with something. I made the mistake of working with them the day before I drove to the dealership so that gave them time to do this without me realizing it. I also had some weird electrical issues starting on the first night. A few days after purchase I was asked how I liked the vehicle and I told them that I hated the vehicle and the problems they stuck me with and I expressed my intent to return the vehicle as I was misled. I told them I only have one vehicle and I don’t have time to be taking it in to chase some weird issue with a nearly new truck. They basically told me to go screw myself and to “trust the process” which was me taking what they feel like doing and dealing with it. These people are dishonest and they do not care what they sell you as long as they make their money. They have no integrity and I recommend that you DO NOT BUY FROM ANY Beau Townsend dealership. More

Overall very good new car buying experience Really liked sales rep Dave Towner - feel he as well as Kevin in finance were honest and did their best to get me a fair deal - thanks! Constructive Really liked sales rep Dave Towner - feel he as well as Kevin in finance were honest and did their best to get me a fair deal - thanks! Constructive feedback: Rick W. was sales rep I met at first visit to dealership; he appeared a bit conceited and aloof - hopefully not conscious attributes - but because of that first experience I almost didn't return...glad I did though! Exactly the right car and deal was fair. I have been driving for 50 years and have purchased new and used cars in Cincy, Columbus and now Vandalia and small towns around the area. These are a I have been driving for 50 years and have purchased new and used cars in Cincy, Columbus and now Vandalia and small towns around the area. These are absolutely the nicest people I ever dealt with. I had been to my previous dealer (where my salesman passed me to someone else on every deal I have done) and it almost seemed the fact I wanted to test a Mustang was a sort of a joke. Oh, and had to send a baby sitter with my wife and I (we are 66 and 69 years young). At Beau Townsend we were treated with respect, trusted to do a test drive on our own. Oh! and no one blowing cigarette smoke around while smarting off to me as at the other place. If I am again in the market again I will make BEAU TOWNSEND my one and only stop. More

In early April, while searching Autotrader, I found a listing for an 2010 Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer at Beau Townsend Ford. Being a new listing, no pictures of this vehicle were posted. I promptly called the next morning and began a conversation with Jason Pemberton. Jason assured me this was a very nice vehicle but didn't know all the specifics yet, as it just came in on trade. Jason then advised I talk with George Davell. Having not been through the service dept., I was told the vehicle would have EVERYTHING fixed before being put on the lot. My wife and I made the trip to Vandalia to look at the car, and were impressed with the vehicle. Jason and George neither one lead us on, the explorer showing exactly as described. This explorer might be five years old, but I guarantee a New car could not show any nicer. Being the exact car we were searching for with the rare color combination and options, we agreed to purchase the vehicle upon completion of service. All of this at a very fair price. A few days later, George called saying the vehicle was serviced and ready. My wife and I made a second trip to Vandalia and ultimately purchased this vehicle knowing a few items needed attention yet when ordered parts arrived. After having the Explorer home for a few days, a couple additional items came to my attention. When George called to schedule installation of parts, I advised of new concerns, and was answered with the remark George always gave. "No Problem, We'll Take Care Of That" I know I rattled on, but I can not say enough how impressed we are with the professionalism in which we were treated. Buy no means is Beau Townsend Ford a small dealership, but my wife and I felt like we were the only customer on the lot at any trip we made. Thank You Jason from the initial phone call, George for all the personal time you gave us, and Mike for getting us through the paperwork quickly. More
