Fraud, Dishonesty & Greed They sold my order to another customer and kept lying to me until 3 month after the fact. This is true story, there are phone records & voicemail records to backup everyth another customer and kept lying to me until 3 month after the fact. This is true story, there are phone records & voicemail records to backup everything I have written here. The sales men that worked with me are JASON NABOZNY & CADEN NABOZNY. Here is the timeline of events: 1. Nov. 11, 2022, order placed for a Bolt EUV 2. Dec. 14, 2022, Caden called me and left an voicemail saying that my order was accepted by GM. 3. Jan. 3, 2023, Caden called me and left an voicemail saying that my order was being built. I called back and was told it will probably be delivered in March. 4. Mar. 18, 2023, I called Caden and was told this order is taking longer than usual, probably because the option I ordered, and was also told that it will probably be delivered in June. 5. Apr 30, 2023, I called Caden and left a voicemail message to ask for the order status, never received response from him. 6. May 2, 2023, I called Caden and he said he needs to check order, will call me back in 5 minutes, which never happened. 7. May 3, 2023, I called Caden 9 times, all of them went to voicemail. Then I switched to my son's phone, he immediately responded, after finding out it was me, he told me he will call back in 5 minutes, which again never happened. 8. May 4, 2023, I called Caden 3 times, all of them went to voicemail. 9. May 9, 2023, I called Caden 4 times, all of them went to voicemail. So I decided to call other salesmen at the same location, after providing my order #, they all kicked the ball around & kept transferring me to some other people's voicemails. Finally, a lady in development department was kind enough to connect me with the sales manager Alex, who is an honest man and told me this order was sold to another customer on Jan. 23, 2023. So I went back to check my phone log, and I did NOT find any calls from Dexter Chevy Dealer or received any voicemail/message from Caden in that time period. Jason & Caden, I wish the extra money you earned by selling my order to the other customer made your life better. More importantly, I hope it will also make you a better person, so that others does not have to go through what happened to me. More

This dealership is amazing and will do whatever it takes to make your car dreams happen. Awesome experience . I went to this dealership needing to roll out of a vehicle . They not only provided me with multiple financing options but they also had plenty of . I went to this dealership needing to roll out of a vehicle . They not only provided me with multiple financing options but they also had plenty of work trucks to pick from . They treated my son and I and my dog pepper with patience and respect -Jason was my salesman and he knocked it out of the park , and got me the truck that I really wanted and the truck i needed for my work and play purposes. Exceptional Excellent & Unbelievable is the 1st 2 words that come to mind!!! Had some out of the ordinary issues arise. Current company we were financed through tried pulling some crap. Our salesman got into a car accident. Even while being blindsided by these events. I think 2 other salesmen, a financial manager, and a couple other staff members jumped right in to assist. Went WAY above & beyond to help hurdle some obstacles. We will NEVER go to any other dealership from now on. We live in Rockwood & will continue to drive out to Dexter. More

Not a deal, not treated like "family" The negotiations were a waste of time, the dealership is unorganized, and the person I spoke with to finalize the transaction when the negotiations we The negotiations were a waste of time, the dealership is unorganized, and the person I spoke with to finalize the transaction when the negotiations were over was pretty rude. Jason at the Dexter dealership brought a car in from Commerce, so I went in appreciative of that-- but that's where the good experience stopped. In case you don't have time to read the whole review: we would only ever come back to any LaFontaine Group dealership as a last resort. Our salesperson went back and forth about small amounts of money (we're talking the amount you might negotiate regarding a TV). The car started $1000 over exact comparables at area dealerships, which we could verify. They ultimately almost lost a cash sale over $800, and only agreed to our offer when my husband read them the riot act. I went in with a friend at first, and they would barely budge off list price (I walked away after they wouldn't negotiate). They then refused the cash offer I called back with, which I made clear was the best we would do. That's okay-- car negotiations are like that. But then they called back hours later, offering another tiny amount off the price they had already offered earlier. It was like getting nickel and dimed in reverse. The car was overpriced to start with, the negotiations were terrible, and the coordination between the LaFontaine Groups was unorganized. We were told we could pick up the car and sign paperwork one day, and, after waiting for a while when we got there, we were told we would actually have to come back another day. Adam from LaFontaine Subaru in Commerce finalized details over the phone with me, and was pretty rude (hung up on me when he had to call and check a detail with Jason in Dexter). When I came to sign paperwork, it was unorganized and I even got a receipt with the wrong person's name on it. I received zero follow up after we finally got the car. This experience was disappointing at best, and reflects poorly on the LaFontaine Group as a whole. It seemed like the Subaru group dropped the ball a lot, and the Dexter dealership handled pretty much all of our transactions in an unprofessional way. Jason was pleasant enough, but that can't make up for an experience this bad. We will only come to a LaFonatine dealership as a last resort. More
