Stereotypical dealership expirience This was the worst dealership I have ever been to, bought my first and last dodge. Sales department is probably fine but their service department is c This was the worst dealership I have ever been to, bought my first and last dodge. Sales department is probably fine but their service department is completely incompetent. It was the stereotypical dealership experience where you are quoted one price and with every phone call your bill jumps up $1000. I started out with an $800 quote and by the time I pulled the plug I had flushed away $3500 and my vehicle was still not fixed and sending the same engine code that I had brought it in for 3 times. The dealership refuses to make reasonable efforts to correct the issue. I went in to discuss my options and was told that I should have stopped throwing money at it a while ago and $3500 would have been a good down payment on a new vehicle, after every suggestion from the service department was to just fix this that and the other thing and it will be good as new. Definition of highway robbery and had I known that the service department was not able to diagnose the problem right, I would have taken the money and bought a Chevy or a Ford. Either one would have been better. If I could give them zero stars I would. More

Great bunch of guys. Easy to work with. They actually had to source a truck for me and I ended up with a better truck and a better price than I expected. I tried all 3 American trucks (Chevy/GMC, Ram an had to source a truck for me and I ended up with a better truck and a better price than I expected. I tried all 3 American trucks (Chevy/GMC, Ram and Ford) and the RAM truck fit my need much more than the other two. For that matter I had gone to two other dealships as well. Look forward to working with these guys again on my next purchase. Hopefully I can point others to Putnam Chrysler! Regards, John More

e two reasons for not being completely satisfied, the first and to me the most important the used Jeep I purchased did not come with two keys. So after buying the jeep, agreeing to payments and driving first and to me the most important the used Jeep I purchased did not come with two keys. So after buying the jeep, agreeing to payments and driving back and forth from Norwich to Putnam a few times, I had to pay an additional $160 for a spare key which in my opinion should come with every car used or new. I know this may seems like a small thing but it is an extra expense that I did not appreciate. The second item I was not happy with was that when speaking to Jason I was told I would be getting a rear hitch put on the jeep I was purchasing to fix a outstanding recall. This was again confirmed when I was signing the loan documents. Then a day later after signing everything, Jason informed me that he read the information incorrectly and I was not getting a rear hitch which is something my wife and I wanted on this vehicle. So now there will be one more expense we will need to put out that we didn't plan on More

Overall a great experience. Peter Place is very knowledgable and friendly. He followed up on details and handled the sale in a very professional but casual manner. The only negative comment I would give would be on the negotiation of the trade allowances. Ultimately, I got what I felt was fair but it took a while to get there. So far, I would definitely recommend the dealership to others. More
