I made an appointment with Service Advisor Jarod Powell about a week before my service visit to get a set of tires and oil change service for my Tahoe. Also, two recalls for software updates were taken ca about a week before my service visit to get a set of tires and oil change service for my Tahoe. Also, two recalls for software updates were taken care of as well. Everything was done in about 3 hours, which I believe was pretty good for all that had to be done. I've been a Thornton Chevrolet customer since 2005, and it's nice to see familiar faces when I come in. Just about everyone there has helped me at one time or another, including Jarod who helped me a couple years ago when I had valve lifter failure on a Silverado and it was in the shop for an extended time, during the pandemic when there was a shortage of loaner vehicles. More

I brought my Camaro in for routine service (oil change and filter) after setting up an appointment earlier with Donna Haan. My service advisor, Chuck Yearta, understood the peculiarities of my Camaro mod and filter) after setting up an appointment earlier with Donna Haan. My service advisor, Chuck Yearta, understood the peculiarities of my Camaro model (a ZL1), and the service was completed quickly. While waiting, I talked with Jarod Powell about bringing in my Tahoe for a set of tires and taking care of a couple recall items as well as getting its oil changed when I brought it in. Both Donna and Jarod have helped me with problems, sometimes with very short notice, in in the past, and, as a customer since 2005, it's nice to see familiar faces who know me when I come in. It's unusual to see long-time dealership employees in the Atlanta market and is a testament that John Thornton Chevrolet is doing things right. Even my service advisor, Chuck, while relatively new in that roll, was a 20+ year employee. More

I paid over $8,000 to fix my vehicle and now I’m back again. When I recently asked for a loaner vehicle, I’m told no.
