I was able to test drive the Crosstrek, which I initially was interested in purchasing. The Crosstrek didn't perform as well as I had hoped, and dealer Jan understood what I felt was disappointing and was a was interested in purchasing. The Crosstrek didn't perform as well as I had hoped, and dealer Jan understood what I felt was disappointing and was able to recommend the Outback Limited, which I like a lot. The question then became whether I should purchase a used Outback or lease a new one. The choice was left completely to me, and I decided to lease the new one. More

Jan, was great. Engaging, warm, and friendly. Incredibly knowledgeable about Subarus and all kinds of cars. He was not too pushy and a great story teller. I Engaging, warm, and friendly. I am giving Albany Subaru 5 stars, because we’ve had positive experiences each time we’ve purchased a car there and I like Subaru’s company values as a whole. This is the second car we bought through Albany Subaru. Everyone is (has been) super friendly, kind, and makes you feel “at home”. We love our Subies! I only have two complaints: (1) that the dollars referenced in some of the advertising did not quite match the actual fees, or at least to me, it didn’t seem transparent. For instance, the car doc maintenance brochure says “…as low as $1,295” (is that the 3 yr plan?) or $25/month for 5 years ($1,500), yet I’m being charged $1,695. I brought this up to Jan, and he mentioned the brochures were out dated. Not a huge deal, but something Subaru should correct; and (2) I was surprised to see how much the fees for the extended warranty increased from 2 years ago. Two years ago when we bought our 2022 Outback we paid $2,688 for 120 mos/100,000 miles. For the Crosstrek we paid $4,225 for 84 mos/100,000. Had I realized this at the time I may have tried to negotiate the price/timeline of the extended warranty, if that would have been possible. More

Tire sensor lights still unresolved and we have to bring the truck back. This is a big inconvenience as we live a minimum of 45 minutes away, with traffic could be an hour. Brought the car in for maintenanc the truck back. This is a big inconvenience as we live a minimum of 45 minutes away, with traffic could be an hour. Brought the car in for maintenance check and oil change, Maintenance light is still on, we have to bring the car back to have it reset. Again we don't live close, big inconvenience. Wondering if the oil was even changed. Ever time we had the 4runner in for service it's incomplete or the issue is not addressed. We received a text the technicians were having an issue with the key, when I asked what the issue was no one knew and nothing documented. Concerning! More
