Very unhappy with the transaction here. I haven't bought a car in 9 years, and this situation made me not want to do it for another 9 years or longer. Communication and expectations wer I haven't bought a car in 9 years, and this situation made me not want to do it for another 9 years or longer. Communication and expectations were terrible throughout the whole process. Joseph provided very few updates to me without me constantly asking him for the next steps over the course of a few weeks to buy the car. Once they got my money, the communication was worse than before that. 1 - When the car was being shipped, I was told the car was on the way one afternoon, it didn't show up until the next day, I randomly got a call they were 30 minutes from my home, had to leave work urgently to be home to receive it. Could this not be more coordinated or communicated? 2 - The temp tag didn't come with the car, had to be overnighted. Received the car and couldn't drive it at all. Why wouldn't this be checked before it was shipped out? 3 - Was told on 6/7 that the title was filed and would be 10-14 days. I provided Joseph the insurance info on 6/6 via text. Joseph advised me the car was titled on 6/21. Found out on 6/24 it hasn't been titled yet, he "still needs insurance info", which I provided him on 6/6. Which is it? Why can't you take a few minutes to check and be sure to not mislead customers and give wrong information? 4 - I tried to call the GM, so I would have someone to discuss my concerns and issues with, because the sales manager Jacob was also not very responsive unless it had to do with receiving money. The guy never called me back. I understand he's likely a very busy person, but i left a voicemail with my situation name and number, clearly no one listens to voicemails and if they do, they don't care about customers, because i never received a call back. Again, this was after they got my money, and I live out of state. Will not be back and will not advise anyone to go here. Poor communication and poor way to treat a customer. I would be fired from my job if I gave the service to a customer that I received on this transaction. More

I drove all the way downn from Alaska to purchase a new Hummer they had on the lot. I was greeted by a tall drink of water with a beautiful accent named Jonathan Arante, who asked us if we needed any food Hummer they had on the lot. We have never had service like this before and were blown away by the complete vehicle demonstration. These guys were so top notch!! To top things off we even had a visit from the GM Jamie Warren thanking us for our business. (Super Handsome I might add). I have never felt so good spending 6 Figures in my life! Thank you to Everyone at Jim Ellis Cadillac!!! More

I purchased a vehicle here on 3-14-24. I drove from SC 3 hrs to pick the vehicle up on the 15th and there were some things wrong with the vehicle. Justin (the car salesman) assured me that I drove from SC 3 hrs to pick the vehicle up on the 15th and there were some things wrong with the vehicle. Justin (the car salesman) assured me that they would be corrected- The vehicle would be delivered to me on the 17th, my GM points reimbursed to me (since the paperwork was already completed and not applied), and tags would be mailed to my house. After two months, two temporary tags and still no reimbursement or tag, I went to the SC DMV and learned that I would have to fill out paperwork, go to the tax office and go pick up the tag myself (which they informed me happens a lot when purchasing a vehicle in GA.) I have no problem with the extra time, effort or money this took. I do have problems with being lied to by Justin repetitively though. I then called to speak with the GM, Jamie on 5/31/24. He told me he would look into my files and call me back from his personal cell phone number and let me know what was going on. We spoke for less than 5 minutes. He had someone names Melissa call to explain that SC is a title only state. After asking if I would like to speak to anyone else (who else would I speak to if not the general manager himself, who did not return my call as he said he would)?, I told her no, I would be writing an online review. Suddenly, Jamie called from his cellphone and left a voicemail stating that he was about to have Melissa call and explain the tag/title process to me and to please call him if I had any other concerns. Now we're insulting my intelligence and trying to cover our tails... the call logs prove that. My concerns are that after spending six figures on a car, no one feels any responsibility for customer satisfaction/complaints or upholding the end of their verbal agreements. I had a witness with me for the signing of the paperwork and the promises made by Justin. I recently took my vehicle into Augusta, GA for service and realized I also had an air conditioner hose leaking and the shaking tire issue was a result of needing an alignment and balancing (which Justin said would be fixed before delivery.) I would never do business here again. More

Sales staff was very attentive and the vehicle we purchased is outstanding. Returned to dealership today for oil change and rotation. Service was preformed promptly and staff in service is among the finest I’ve dealt with. Had a problem with a rebate but was rectified by by the GM and issued a check on the spot. Jim Ellis Cadillac is 2 hours from our home. We will make the trip to purchase our next Cadillac from Jim Ellis. Great staff and customer service appears to be their main objective. Rear to be 100 percent satisfied in purchasing a vehicle, very nice change. More

Had lots of interactions and very indepth experiences regarding High-end Cars, their respective customization and high-tech tuning. This Dealership is a one-stop-shop, especially when it comes to the V-Line Brand of Cadillac. GM of Sales, Mr. Brent very knowledgeable, very keen and to the point. Won't waste your time - please do same; simple mathematics folks!!! Be clear concise in your communications and clarity will accompany you throughout whatever it is you dealing with. General Motors can be proud to have Jim Ellis representing the entire Cadillac Brand with a roster of well seasoned executive talent. Mr. Warren, the main General Manager is by far one of the BEST that ever did it. Chief Executive all around; ..and it shows, cause he is leading by exemplary character, integrity & a sound personality. Stellar experience. I am very old school and very tired of the nowadays tactics of high-pressure sales, financing, etc. that dealers typically do. Pressuring you to comp I am very old school and very tired of the nowadays tactics of high-pressure sales, financing, etc. that dealers typically do. Pressuring you to complete an app, selling on monthly payments and BS upgrades, and packing loans. I deal mainly in Fords and Chevy for both myself and my company. I stepped outside of my comfort zone because I have admired the new escalades since they made their debut and wanted to surprise my wife with one for her birthday. I was referred to Jamie Warren by a friend of mine. I expected the tactics and slick-selling to happen to be them dealing in Cadillacs and high-end and was prepared for it as I understand this is part of it these days. This did NOT happen. Between Jamie and Chuck, they made it easier, quicker, and less stressful to buy a Cadillac Escalade for my wife than me buying basic work trucks for my guys. I like to keep dealings short, and to the point, and worry about being friends after when dealing with dealerships. They have the same goal it seems. There were very generous on our trade-in, very humble on their pricing of the new SUV, and very realistic and accommodating with financing- Jason Strong is a true professional in finance handling. We walked out not only feeling, but knowing, we were treated right, fairly, and with the same respect and directness we portrayed to them. I buy 5-10 vehicles a year for either our family or our company, and I can tell you that if I ever have the opportunity to deal in Cadillac/GM/ or their pre-owned offerings, It WILL be at Jim Ellis and with the honest and fair help of Jamie, Chuck, and Jason. As a business owner, I know everyone is quick to leave a 1-star review, and difficult to leave a 5-star review. I am one of them, I just don't leave reviews unless it is exceptionally deserved, which happens maybe twice a year. Jim Ellis and the team did more than just deserve it, they earned it. My hat is off to you guys and it is apparent why you guys have earned such a reputable name in the industry and look forward to future dealings. Best, Matt May More
