James grew up in the small Adirondack town of Old Forge, New York, where the outdoors shaped much of his life. Surrounded by mountains, forests, and lakes, he spent his younger years skiing in the winter and hiking, fishing, and camping through the warmer months. That early connection to nature never left him, and he still finds joy in spending time outside whenever he can. Alongside his love for the outdoors, James built a career as a professional chef, developing a deep appreciation for food, cooking, and sharing meals with others. The creativity and passion he brought to the kitchen remain a big part of his life today. James also has a strong love for travel and adventure. Whether exploring new places or setting up camp under the stars, he enjoys experiencing the world beyond the everyday. These days, many of those adventures are shared with his wonderful companion, and together they enjoy traveling, camping, and continuing to make new memories in the outdoors he has always loved
