Visiting from out of town, I saw a Ram 2500 I liked, when I pulled in, I was greeted by a salesman by the name of Jonathan, we decided for me to test drive the truck, I decided to sit down and see if we coul I pulled in, I was greeted by a salesman by the name of Jonathan, we decided for me to test drive the truck, I decided to sit down and see if we could make a deal, I ended up trading my 2019 Ram and was promised if I financed with them, I would get a better deal, I know dealers are in the business to make money, so when they came back with the same numbers as before, I decided to stop haggling and buy the truck, the sales manager James Herrington said they get $$$ back from the bank for financing and that I could pay the balance off before the due date, the contract and financing was done computerized and James said, the contract will be emailed to me, I also told them I would be back with the title, extra key and I would be putting the OEM tires and rims back on the trade. I returned the following week after driving over 360 miles one way from NC. I asked Jonathan could he have one of the shop personnel to swap out the tires, at first he said, they will do it first thing Saturday morning, then he came back and said, they might be able to get to because they have limited mechanics on Saturday. Saturday afternoon came and I didn’t hear anything from Jonathan, I texted and called him, and got his voicemail. I ended up going to the dealership and swapping out the tires myself. Never did Jonathan returned my call or follow up with me. When I checked my email, the contract was not in the email, I emailed James and he responded back saying “ Who is this?” I emailed him back and called him, leaving a message on his voicemail, he finally sent the contract, never returning my call. I noticed the contract had a higher amount than we discussed and when I went to pay the balance to Fifth Third bank, the payoff was $140 higher 😑😡Goes to show, never trust a dealer or the finance department, always get it in writing or just leave. More
