Found what I wanted. Having owned several Ram trucks in the past (94 Ram, 98 Ram, 99 Ram Quad, 2002 Durango, and 2012 Bighorn 1500. I was quite sure of what I wanted before going to the dealership. Used the tools on the websites to find the right truck. Landers had it. I needed something to pull my new new travel trailer safely. My 1500 had plenty of power but, in a good wind the trailer swayed a bit. Better safe than sorry. The 2500HD 4x4 was the truck to get, The BigHorn trim is very nice add for comfort. I wanted an upgrade so I bought a 2015 Grand Carvan with all the bells and whistles in my wife favorite color red. All 3 where sold to us by James Gillis, he was a great salesman and I told what we wanted and he made it happen. I will never buy anything but a Dodge from Landers and James Gillis. Ran credit without my approval I was in to look at a used vehicle. Salesman took my info, standard procedure, and I asked to see what the best price we could get was. I told him I I was in to look at a used vehicle. Salesman took my info, standard procedure, and I asked to see what the best price we could get was. I told him I am not interested in payment amount, I want to see Price of vehicle. He left the room without saying a word and I never signed anything. I then got a notification from Credit Karma that a new Hard Inquiry was made. What??? I did not authorize this, I was not ready to see what my payments were. They do not need to run my credit to give me a price on a used car, just tell me what the price you can do is, then if I like that I will authorize a credit run and talk payments. The thing that really upset me was he never even said they were going to do a credit check, If he had told me upfront I would have denied it and walked out, This was an unauthorized check. I will not do business with this dealership. More
