Started great evolved VERY DISHONEST… BMW OWNER 40 yrs worst experience …now also in market 7series.. not here unless what is still owed on z4 is satisfactory. Buying a car should not be such an absolute pain in the xxx. They were so crazy anxious to close a sale. We came to this dealership, even tho is was a 45 minute drive. We did not intend to purchase a car xxx. They were so crazy anxious to close a sale. We came to this dealership, even tho is was a 45 minute drive. We did not intend to purchase a car at that moment, butwe did. They required that my wife drive 45 minutes home to write a check, then send them a picture of the check. Then, they had a driver come to our house to pick up the check. Also, they had my wife send a photo of the check to the dealership but apparently ‘that didn’t work’. I waited until the driver returned to the dealership with the check. The entire process took about 4 hours. Due to the distance and rush hour this process was ery inconvenient and unbelievably time consuming. Honesty, i paid cash for my last three Lexus cars and it was seamless. I will never purchase a car from a BMW dealer again. I was there until way after the dealership actually closed for the day. More

James Frye was extremely friendly and professional. He provided the personal services throughout the purchase process which we have come to expect from BMW. BMW of Sarasota is a wonderful dealership which really cares about its customers. We really appreciated the loaner car we received while waiting for our new BMW to arrive. Our experience at Sarasota BMW was unfortunately not great. The chaos is interesting to watch as you sit and wait for your car. The left hand clearly doesn't know what the right hand is doing. Spendin great. The chaos is interesting to watch as you sit and wait for your car. The left hand clearly doesn't know what the right hand is doing. Spending 8 hours in a dealership when buying a car is completely unacceptable. We have been lied to repeatedly by the service person and then again our salesman. We will not be bringing our car in for service here, I will drive to another BMW dealership or find service elsewhere. Their car loaners are made through Hertz, ( in house) and the representative was rude, and I had to drive a car with ants coming out of the engine. The whole experience was so dissatisfying except for the absolute lovely people showing us the way the new car worked. I recommend driving to the east coast to give your business to Field's BMW which is a class act. More
