I purchased a new Chevrolet Silverado 18 months ago. The buying experience was great and that’s where it ends. For let 25 days I have tried to get a defective windshield replaced. Something has failed inside the middle layer of the glass. Took it back to Bob Bell and was told there was something wrong but GM needed to look at it. My truck is less than 2 years old. I was also told not to drive the vehicle as it was unsafe. I was told that they had never seen an issue like this in over 40 years of experience with GM. I was never offered a loaner. I was also advised that Bob Bell would contact the GM rep and have them contact me by Friday of thought week I took the vehicle in. It has been more than three weeks since my visit and no one has contacted me yet. I have called back to the dealership many times, and everyone pushes it off all the GM. I was told to issue a complaint with GM which I did. Again three weeks later and I still haven’t heard a thing from anyone. I have been a GM customer for over 40 years and the Bob Bell customer for over 20 years. This will be my last purchase from both. So much for a 36 month bumper-to-bumper warranty plus extended warranty. They are great until you need them. No one can tell me what the problem is with the windshield only that it’s not covered by my bumper to bumper warranty. The term environmental fallout has been mentioned as a possible cause. If that’s the case, then most of the vehicles in my neighborhood should have the same issue but they don’t. This is Bob Bell and GM’s way of telling me that they don’t really care. Good luck if you choose to buy from either Bob Bell or GM they do not stand behind their product. More

Hmmmm it pains me to write this review. This dealership has dropped the ball for the final time as it IS NOT THE 1ST or 2nd. You cannot get service for your vehicle ever... Anyone picking up the phone is a blank page and cannot assist. It's disgraceful... When my mom can't get basic service or a call back when there is an issue after you have just purchased your 4th or 5th vehicle from the same location and have my mom stressed about a vehicle that she just took off the lot a couple months ago in June 2022. To add to the disregard of us as customers, to call your sales person Miki H. still waiting for a call back... (now dont freaking bother) to whom you have been dealing with for a decade or so now is just completely unacceptable. On this last purchase I myself even spoke to a Manager there who assured me this would not happen again. Unfortunately, he never did his due diligence to tighten up ship. We will not be returning to this dealership as they have no respect for the customer AFTER your purchase. We work to hard for our coin to have a Chevy Dealership treat us like this after being a loyal customer for so long. 4 trucks.... DECADES here people.... Bob Bell Chevrolet of Bel Air Maryland is not a place we will return to. Customer Service is not their thing apparently. On principle I may have her put this darn truck on someone's lot & switch brands like we started to.... lesson learned. This is a real review via a long period of time deal with this dealership. I see a lot of 5 star reviews & I swear it can't be possible soooo just use common sense. More

I live in new jersey. We needed a new truck and inventory was limited last year. Ended up finding this 2017 Chevy suburban online last october. We went on the word of the dealer that everything was good. They boasted about how Maryland has the toughest standards for inspection. It was bought and serviced at that dealership so they could guarantee everything was good. They are a Chevy dealership after all. We pick up the truck the first week of november. It's cold, rainy and dark when I get there. I'm still trusting that this is a reputable dealership. when I get home the next morning my wife looks at it and it is filthy in the back half of the truck. Dog hair and slobber everywhere. Now when It gets warm out I goto use the air conditioner and it blows out hot air. They say well since it's been so long they won't help me. They could but are choosing not to. This is what I would expect from a sleazy used car lot not a Chevrolet dealership. Very dissatisfied. Do not buy from these guys. They give Chevrolet a bad name. More

Scambag place about to buy a over 60K shelby gt350R 2017 everything was done but when i request pre purchase inspection the come with all sourse of BS and said they can not do it. Alysha sales person is a disaster with her manager. They declined pre purchase inspection and told me unfortunately another customer buy the car already with is not true. That was july 29/21 and gues what today july 31/21 the car still available. Thanks good i didn't buy from there. God knows what kind issue car has thats why they dont want certified the vehicle because of course there's something wrong with the car. Dont go there wasting money and time. My wife and I are now on our fourth Bob Bell Chevrolet and we are truly pleased with the sales and the service department. We had a minor problem when after a routine service, oil change and tire rotation and we are truly pleased with the sales and the service department. We had a minor problem when after a routine service, oil change and tire rotation an inexperienced mechanic forgot two lug nets and failed to tighten the other three HOWEVER Bob Bell immediately ordered a new rim because the weren't certain that the lugs weren't rounded. They provided me with a rental vehicle on their dime until the new rim arrived and immediately replaced it and issue other accommodations. Bob Bell for a lifetime. More

Easy to talk to and deal with. Would have liked a full tank of gas and coolant but I guess that was for new cars. Did get napkins in back and a CD in player. Minor issues. Will come back to buy again. More
