This deposit was to be placed to ensure a hold on said vehicle and she was pressured into doing so by Gregory Crawford and James Diaz with the promise of her vehicle arriving on their lot in 2 weeks, 3 weeks max. That this vehicle is at their “sister dealership” and they just need to “trade a few cars with him” yet it was also “in-transit to their lot” and the “sister dealership just needs to hold it a little while longer to draw in customers.” Total xx. Today marks 3 weeks, mind you. My grandmother called multiple times last week to speak with James Diaz (NEW CAR MANAGER) and each time she did so, he dodged her. Time and time again! Stating he’d call her back, he had no info on her vehicle, he had to inquire about more details, blah blah blah. Yesterday I had to get involved when he continued to blow her off this week - very professional, James Diaz! What happened when I called? Same thing - he was “out” or “busy” and had a “family emergency” and was “closing a deal”, I believe I heard every excuse in the book yesterday. I was finally able to speak with the genuinely ONLY helpful person at that entire dealership, a Mr. Rod, who had to badger his MANAGER JAMES DIAZ to give my grandmother a call. He called his manager THREE times while I was on the phone with him before James Diaz called him back. I was not muted and heard every word Mr. James Diaz said: “ha ha ha calm down bro! I called her and gave her the answers she was looking for! I’m making a deal but come find me after and I’ll fill you in! Ha ha ha”. Disgusting. Rod calls my grandmother to confirm that James Diaz did in fact call her. She was confused as, of course, JAMES DIAZ did not identify himself — I’m certain because he thought he could continue to manipulate the situation even further (LOL). He conveyed to my grandmother that her car is now pushed out until November 17. Annoying! Moreso because this schmuck lied from the beginning instead of being professional, honest, and communicative with his customer. I am so enraged at this point that I send an email to the CEO — figured that would light a fire under someone’s butt. Fast-forward to today. I receive a call from Mr. Tim Turley who seems more annoyed than empathetic with the situation. Mr. Tim Turley informs me that the “hold” on my grandmother’s car isn’t a real hold, the car was straight up SOLD to someone else LAST WEEK! Rests assured that my grandmother will receive her deposit back, but that “that’s not how I train my salesman”. Really, Tim? Could’ve fooled me with your attitude. My grandmother calls to speak with Tim to have a conversation about this despicable situation today and get her money back. He offers her her deposit back and stated he’d give her $8,000 for her car. WOWZA! BIG SPENDERRRR! Y’all offered $10k initially and told her to not put miles on it between the date of deposit and the date she picks up her new car/trades old one. Now you’re low-balling her after ROYALLLYYY screwing her? Telling her she’s simply SOL? Hm. Speaks to your character. Especially considering YOUR dealership BROKE HER DOOR while doing their “estimate”, and NONE of y’all wanted to address that! Grandmother proceeds to go into the dealership today to obtain her money and have a conversation with Mr. James Diaz. After being ignored for quite some time, a salesman comes into the office to speak to another salesman talking about a “pissed off lady, we can’t ever make her happy with this deal, what the xxxx do I tell her now”. Do y’all see the theme going on here? James Diaz, of course, did not own up to his part in this. Neither did Tim Turley, for that matter. It’s disgusting that James Diaz was going to give my grandmother the run-around while keeping her money, thinking he could continue to delay her with lies and “I’ll call ya back”s KNOWING THE CAR WAS SOLD! This place is SHADY. The management is SHADY! STAY FAR AWAY! There is no accountability, only excuses! More

I had the most excellent experience working with James, from the moment he received my Online internet inquire to the final signing of the papers and putting on my paper tags he was wonderful. Very laid ba from the moment he received my Online internet inquire to the final signing of the papers and putting on my paper tags he was wonderful. Very laid back, funny, and made the whole experience worth it. I was terrified to make my first car purchase but he made the process so easy; if you are in the market for a new or used car I’d recommend James and the guys over at Amarillo Hyundai and Tri-State Ford to get the job done!
