My salesman was Bobby and he couldn’t have been a better one. When I first came to the lot he caught a feel of what I would like and he pretty much pointed out the perfect car for me. They quickly addressed all my issues. They ordered the part and installed it while I waited. I had a couple of cups of hot chocolate and it was time too go. The service was terrible. I had to wait four days for my car to be looked at and another 6 days before I was able to get a rental car approved through Hyundai. I work across the lake so it was very hard for car to be looked at and another 6 days before I was able to get a rental car approved through Hyundai. I work across the lake so it was very hard for me to find a ride or borrow someone’s car. After two months of Hyundai having my car to replace the engine I finally get it back only to have more problems. When I got home from picking up my car I noticed that the fan was still running but I didn’t really think anything of it. The next day on my way home from work, my engine overheated message came up on the Causeway bridge! Luckily I was able to make it off the bridge without getting into an accident or the car blowing up on me. I called the service department to let them know what had happened and told them I would bring my car in on Monday morning since it was a Friday evening. When I brought my car on Monday after waiting for over two hours it was discovered that a clamp wasn’t tightened and the coolant was leaking out. I then left and noticed that my car smelled of gas. When I picked up my son from school about 4 hours later the gas smell was so strong so I immediately went back to Hyundai. It was then discovered that the fuel pump was laying on top of the engine!!! Talk about a real danger!! I’m very disappointed in how the service department handled my case and my car still smells of gas but the service manager told me that it would take a while for the gas to burn and the smell to go away. More
