I visited White Plains Honda on May 9, 2025, with the intention of purchasing a pre-owned vehicle. What should have been a straightforward car-buying experience turned into one of the most unsettling and intention of purchasing a pre-owned vehicle. What should have been a straightforward car-buying experience turned into one of the most unsettling and unprofessional encounters I’ve ever faced. I am compelled to share this review to warn others and address the deeply troubling behavior I experienced, which I believe may have been racially motivated. Upon entering the showroom, I was initially greeted by a friendly salesman who assisted me in browsing vehicles. We reviewed options on the computer, and he showed me three cars, two of which I liked. However, I expressed that I needed time to think and process my decision before committing. This is a reasonable request in any significant purchase, yet it triggered an alarming reaction from the manager, who I believe was named Ivan Rados (though I’m not entirely certain of the name). The manager’s response was shockingly aggressive. He employed manipulative tactics to pressure me into making an immediate decision, which felt coercive and disrespectful. When I stood my ground and decided to leave, he escalated the situation by shouting, “Don’t ever f***ing come back to this place again!” in front of other customers and staff. This outburst was not only unprofessional but also deeply humiliating, especially as it occurred in a public setting. As a person of color, I am left questioning whether this treatment was influenced by racial bias. The manager, described as a white individual with a European accent, displayed behavior that felt discriminatory, particularly given the lack of any provocation on my part. I was polite, engaged, and simply exercising my right to make an informed decision. The hostility I faced has left me shaken and reevaluating whether my background played a role in this treatment. This experience reflects poorly on White Plains Honda’s management and customer service standards. No one should feel attacked or unwelcome when exploring a purchase, and such behavior from a manager is inexcusable. I strongly urge the dealership to investigate this incident and address the conduct of the individual involved. For others considering this dealership, I recommend extreme caution. Based on my experience, I cannot trust that White Plains Honda fosters a respectful or inclusive environment. I am exploring my options for further action, including filing a formal complaint, and I encourage anyone who has faced similar treatment to speak out. This kind of behavior must not be tolerated. The behavior I encountered from one of their staff members, “””Ivan Rados”””” was completely unacceptable. During my visit, he made offensive and derogatory comments, including discriminatory remarks towards people of color. This kind of behavior is not only unprofessional but also deeply disrespectful. I would have hoped that a professional car dealership would foster an environment of respect, inclusivity, and customer service. Unfortunately, that was not the case here. I cannot in good conscience recommend this dealership to anyone, especially considering how poorly I was treated by one of their employees. If you're looking for a dealership that values professionalism and respect, I suggest avoiding white plains Honda altogether. More

I had an extremely disappointing and unacceptable experience with Ivan at Honda dealership. The individual was rude, aggressive, and openly hostile, raising his voice and yelling when we expressed he experience with Ivan at Honda dealership. The individual was rude, aggressive, and openly hostile, raising his voice and yelling when we expressed hesitation about purchasing a car through him. Even worse, his behavior included racist undertones, making the entire interaction not only uncomfortable but deeply offensive. This is not how any customer should be treated, regardless of whether they choose to buy a car or not. I urge the management to take immediate action to address this kind of unprofessional and discriminatory behavior. No one should be made to feel disrespected or unsafe while shopping for a vehicle. I just wanted to mention my recent poor experience with White Plains Honda. On Thursday evening we had an appointment to view a 2024 Honda CRV Hybrid. Preleased. It was a nice car with a couple o White Plains Honda. On Thursday evening we had an appointment to view a 2024 Honda CRV Hybrid. Preleased. It was a nice car with a couple of small dings but overall a nice car. We were told that they couldn't actually sell the car yet because they hadn't received the title. However, they were expecting it in the next few days. We were also told that if we left a deposit (refundable) they would not be allowed to show the car to anyone else. After handing over our credit card the sales rep comes back and tells us that the title just arrived and that the car can now be sold. We were honest and said that we needed a day or two to think about it and "run the numbers". After all, this was a major purchase. Saturday morning I called Honda and made an appointment for Sunday. A few minutes later our rep called to follow up on Thursday's appointment. I told him that I already made an appointment for Sunday. He asked me if we could come in today (Saturday). I told him that my wife works on Saturdays but we would be in tomorrow at 1pm. He asked if he should start the paperwork for financing. I told him that we had already taken care of that and we'd be writing a check. A few hours later my phone rang again, I was unable to answer at the time and no message was left. Sunday morning I get a message and text stating" Hello Jeffrey this is Jonathan from White Plains Honda. I wanted to inform you that the vehicle was sold last night! If you could please give me a call back so we can go over options! Thanks you." I returned his call and he was most apologetic, He stated that he called yesterday to tell us someone else was interested in the car. He admitted that he did not leave a message. Apparently, Saturday afternoon, his manager, Ivan, sold the car that we, in good faith, left a deposit on. What was the point of the deposit? The sales rep "wanted to help us out". There is a similar car with more miles on it that they could sell us. Bait and switch? Maybe. I don't know. I am not interested in doing business with them anymore. It would be telling that their unethical way of doing things is OK. IT'S NOT! Thanks for nothing Ivan, More

My mother went there for a pre owned HRV and Ivan is the only one I’ll deal with. He knows how to get it done even with a bad credit score. Ivan finds the way!
