I had a negotiated lease deal on a Pilot with final numbers at 8 PM with Norm Reeves HB. I called the competitor to let them know I was going to go with Norm Reeves and the director of the other dealer numbers at 8 PM with Norm Reeves HB. I called the competitor to let them know I was going to go with Norm Reeves and the director of the other dealership explained to me that their deal was incorrect and I was going to be unhappy when I go in because the numbers were wrong. I called the next morning to talk to my salesperson, Tony An, who was not available to confirm if what the other dealership said was correct and the director of the store answered and identified himself. I explained the situation and he stated that if those were the numbers I was given then they would honor them. I said great I can come in today. Then I had an additional conversation with him about buying a second vehicle, pre-owned Honda Accord, from them at the same time and he took the vehicle details and said he would have the sales guy call me back. Sales guy called me back, lying about the final numbers he gave me and then trying to gaslight me saying if I had come in last night (at closing mind you) they would have given me the deal. At that point I said no thank you and they lost 2 cars sales. The director then proceeded to text me and trying to gaslight me that I was shopping around, which I wasn't because I wanted both cars. I blocked the texts and that's how it ended. Glad I didn't waste my time going into the store. I can take my money and trade-ins elsewhere. Norm Reeves might be the biggest but would never rate them #1 and will never shop there again. More
