I was looking to drive a VW Taos and a Mazda CX30. Went to Evanston to browse both dealers to test drive these cars. Ended at the VW dealer first, low and behold they had a previously owned 2021 Mazda CX30 with 17K miles. While looking at the cars, Ian Edmonson approached and asked if he could help. Ian was very helpful from the start, patient, and kind. My son and I test drove the Mazda on the way to the garage to look at a Taos. Passed on the Taos once I sat in it. After some discussion, I purchased the Mazda. Ian couldn't have been more attentive. Alex Paszkowski, Finance Manager, was extremely kind and friendly. Overall, I am very pleased with the Mazda. Ian was infinitely patient with me, and gave me the time to test drive all the vehicles I needed to. I appreciated that he rode along for a first test drive to talk me through features and then encouraged me to take it out on my own. Unlike other car sellers I visited that week, I never felt pressured or trapped, or ignored, and I walked out with a car I’m very happy with. Ian really went above and beyond to be sure I could close the deal that day, which was a great relief. And- the dealership is the only place that offered me the KBB trade-in value on my old car.
