Several staff aren’t good at responding (except Helena) and condescending regarding questions/concerns about functions and service matters in my new HR-V. (When you’re told that email is the best way to reach them and they still have answered in 3—10 days it is frustrating. This also is the same behavior for some phone calls. As new owners, we would have appreciated more than 10-15 minutes of a speedy tutorial (our son-in-law bought another make new car with all new technology and the dealer set up an hour tutorial for him to learn the features). I also am insulted that service was dismissive when I said the climate control system is not working well. They said they found no issues, yet we have to turn heat up to higher than 80 before it starts to get warm (after the car has been operating for 10 or more minutes, not with a cold engine). Then, it changes back to cool air after we’ve driven for a while, not what we wanted! Passenger side hardly gets warm air. This is after we tried all the suggested actions both from the manual and the service tech. What’s going to happen in the summer when we want a/c? Will it behave in the same undesirable manner? They need to have better follow-up and not just be incommunicado after they have made the sale. More

Tahir started off well. I was clear that I needed to stick to my parents insurance and he told me it wouldn’t be a problem even though my dad was not there and not on the le I was clear that I needed to stick to my parents insurance and he told me it wouldn’t be a problem even though my dad was not there and not on the lease since we lived in the same house. I trusted him and I lost my family discount on my insurance even though he told me it wouldn’t be a problem. I tried texting him, calling him, calling Andre, calling the sales manager Joe and no one got back to for over 2 weeks. Give or take 20 calls and I even called with a person from corporate. They treated her the same and she saw my issues. We have a ticket open and you can listen to the recording. I went into the office to try and have a conversation with Tahir last Friday. He was with a customer and I waited patiently for hours which was not a problem. Once he was free he didn’t see I wasn’t around and he spoke poorly about me. I asked him to have a civil conversation and instead he raised his voice in the middle of the sales floor, got close to me and said very loudly that I wasn’t his problem anymore and I needed to get my own insurance without his help. Instead of allowing it to escalate further I walked out of the office. I also tried calling the manager the next day but his VM is full and no one has reached out to me even though Joe told me he would. It’s been a poor experience and the perfect example of selling and forgetting about a customer. 0/10 experience. More

I was very disappointed with this experience. We responded to their marketing letter offering a tentative trade in for our car and an *additional* $ amount for my trade in. When it came to putting the deal together the said the additional amount was *included*. Additional and Included are very clear terms and mean very different things. When questioned, they referred to mouse print on the back of the letter printed in halftone gray. VERY DECEPTIVE. They also put a $700 finish protection on the car that I did not request, and did not know about until we were writing the check. On top of that, I made repeated follow up requests for the prorated warranty rebate from the trade in, that they were supposed to process. I have still not heard anything. They got our money so it appears they no longer have time for us. I can't imagine why I will ever go back to Martin Mainline Honda. VERY DISAPPOINTED. More

Bought a used car there in December of 2023 -- also bought an extended warranty, as it was my daughter's first car. Within the first 12 months (and only 4,000 miles of driving), the car has been in the bought an extended warranty, as it was my daughter's first car. Within the first 12 months (and only 4,000 miles of driving), the car has been in the shop 3 times for a total of close to $10,000 in repairs. Tires, brakes, rotors, under carriage, radiator, etc. All things that should have lasted well beyond the first 4,000 miles. And despite having the extended warranty, I was told each time the issues are not covered. I called to speak to the GM -- Mike Freeman -- and said at the outset, "I'm assuming good intentions, but here's the situation." As I finished explaining, his response was, "I don't think we've done anything wrong -- what do you want me to do?" No apologies, no understanding, no effort to try and help a customer who bought a car in good faith. When I expressed that to him, that I felt he was not even trying to help, he said, "I've listened to you for 5 minutes and I don't know what you want me to do for you." I replied, "wow, thanks for giving me 5 minutes" and he hung up. Literally hung up on a customer after 5 minutes. And I never once raised my voice or said anything derogatory. Avoid this dealership at all costs. There are several other options on Lancaster on the Main Line who are willing to help and do right by their customers. He was combative right out of the gate and wanted to accept zero responsibility. I honestly would have been happy if he just offered a couple of oil changes or something commensurate, despite my almost $10K in repairs in the first year. But I didn't get that, or any offer to try and help; just a lot of combative attitude and then he rudely hung up on me. Again, avoid this dealership at all costs.. More
