Little to no communication unless I initiated it. I purchased a vehicle on Thursday , April 2nd. I also paid cash. It was supposed to be delivered on Friday, April 3rd. I was told by the salesman I purchased a vehicle on Thursday , April 2nd. I also paid cash. It was supposed to be delivered on Friday, April 3rd. I was told by the salesman that I would be called when the car left the dealership and when they were about 45 minutes out. At 1:00 pm on Friday I had not heard from anyone. I called and spoke to the the salesman. He said he would look into it and call me back. He called back at 6:20 pm to let me know that they had just finished the repair to the bumper and unfortunately all the drivers had gone home so they would deliver it on Saturday. I told him I was too busy with multiple events going on and asked if it could be delivered on Monday. He said that would be okay. He said they would call when they left and again when they were 45 minutes out. I told him I needed the vehicle to be here by 11:00 am as I had a lunch meeting at 12:00 pm. He said that was fine. At 11:00 am I had not heard anything and called the dealership. I asked to speak to the salesman. After being put in hold twice, I explained the situation to the receptionist who said you need to speak to a sales manager. When the sales manager answered I expressed my concerns, he apologized and I was told he would call me back in 2 minutes. An hour later he had not called back. I called again and talked to a second sales manager and again explained the situation. He apologized and said that the drivers were not sent out that morning due to the bad weather. It had been raining all morning. I told him that was never communicated to me. I told him this was not good customer service. By this time, not knowing if the car had left the lot or not, I had to cancel my lunch appointment. I also told him this situation needed to be communicated with the general manager. He apologized again and put me on hold to check on the status of when the vehicle would be delivered. He came back on the phone and said it would be delivered today by 3:00 pm. I thanked him and hung up. Around 1:45 pm, the driver telephoned to say he would be at my house by 3:00 pm. He arrived at 3:05 pm. Buying a car is not an easy decision. Dealing with people who do not communicate adds insult to injury. I am a retired teacher who taught marketing and customer service for 12 years. What transpired during my purchase was a perfect example of how NOT to handle a customer! More

This was my first purchase at Jerry Hunt. My sale person, Herbert C, was amazing to work with. Very down to earth and not at all “pushy”. The “no haggle” philosophy makes it super easy to go in and buy a car. I looked on their website and found what I wanted. I went in for a test drive and fell in love with the vehicle. Knowing exactly what you will pay takes the stress away from the back and forth, let’s make a deal, purchasing. That’s the part I always hate. Up until now, I have always felt like I had been screwed after purchasing a vehicle. They only area that needs improvement was the detailing of the vehicle prior to pick up. I expected the car to look brand new at pick up as it only had 5600 miles. The interior detailing job was terrible. There were spots that were clearly not cleaned and stuck out like a sore thumb. A few more minutes by the detailer and I would give Jerry Hunt 5 starts instead of 4. I will be returning. More
