The Finance Dept was not respectful of my time. I didn’t waste their time negotiating. Yet they had me wait two hours to hand over the check. And then forced me to sit while they did a back of a I didn’t waste their time negotiating. Yet they had me wait two hours to hand over the check. And then forced me to sit while they did a back of an envelope exercise to upsell me on an extended warranty even though my bank check was already written. Also after I had already gone to the bank for the loan check, I found out that the car’s undercarriage was damaged and I was only getting one key. I didn’t have time to switch our cars and go back to the bank. (I also had no ride to the bank as I had returned my rental). Both issues should have been addressed before selling to me. That is an advantage of buying off a dealer/shop. Next a week later, I get a random call from Finance asking for my social security number. For security reasons, I said I would call them back. But when did (twice ) and no one answered. Finally, how long does it take to register a car, especially as I am keeping the plates ? Two weeks and I got a renewal notice for my OLD car. This experience reminded me why I avoided dealerships last time around. Total disregard and disrespect of customer’s time. More
