I purchased a used vehicle from Len Stoler. I didn't put more than 2500 miles on the car with most of it being freeway driving. Suddenly, I hear a scraping noise in the driver rear wheel area. Long story more than 2500 miles on the car with most of it being freeway driving. Suddenly, I hear a scraping noise in the driver rear wheel area. Long story short, I'm told my pads are worn down and it's metal on metal. ~$600 to replace rotors and pads on both rear wheels. The service manager would not cover the charge in any amount. His response was, "You bought the car as is". How can a good dealer sell a used car knowing that the brake pads are that low? Literally a hair over the minimum MD requirement--if it was even over the minimum when/if inspected. Ethical and smart dealers who care about your safety and want your repeated business would not sell a car in this condition. More

How service should work! I dropped my car off within an hour of having an issue with my vehicle, and my warranty covered repairs and rental as it should. What goes beyond, is my my rental on my warranty ca hour of having an issue with my vehicle, and my warranty covered repairs and rental as it should. What goes beyond, is my my rental on my warranty calls for 1 week and the repair took 2 weeks and 4 days. Len Stoler waived the rental fee altogether. My warranty covered everything but my $200 deductible.. which otherwise would have been about $2400 in repairs... so it was a lot of work on my car, but my car runs like a champ and I will continue buying from them. I'm on car 3 after 14 years with them, and will be a customer for life. More
