Overall, this was the worst vehicle buying experience I've ever had with lie after lie after lie from everyone I talked to at this dealership. Poor professionalism and ethics at this dealership. 1. I w I've ever had with lie after lie after lie from everyone I talked to at this dealership. Poor professionalism and ethics at this dealership. 1. I was lucky enough to experience the finance manager (Chris) getting mad and hanging up on me apparently because the salesman didn't explain something to me properly. 2. I was charged $2499 over ADVERTISED AND AGREED price for a "Spruce Pines package" that is arguably worthless. I told the salesman I didn't want it and he agreed to see if it could be removed. I told the finance manager I didn't want it and he said it'd be removed. Salesman and finance guy both came back and said they were losing too much money on this transaction and that they couldn't remove the package... that I'd have to take the Spruce Pines package if I wanted to buy the vehicle. Oddly, on the back of the window sticker that I saw after the vehicle was delivered was a tag for a Spruce Pines package for $1,799, not the $2,499 I was FORCED to pay. Either way, it's completely worthless. I buy a new vehicle every couple of years and have for the past 20+ years. I've never lost a key, had windshield damage not covered by insurance and have never needed a 2nd set of floor mats which is much of what this package includes as indicated below... -1 free key replacement a year for 5 years... while signing the purchase paperwork, the finance manager was adamant that coverage was only good for 12mos/12,000 miles -1 free windshield replacement per year for 5 years... same story as above -2 free oil changes over and above the free oil change offered by GM... again, finance manager says only good for 12mos/12,000 miles. -all weather floor mats... forced to pay for this even though the vehicle had a package with premium floor mats that are all season w/ carpeted inserts (which I wanted... the extra set, not so much). -door edge guards...that look tacky on a new vehicle -nitrogen filled tires (presumptively to reduce air pressure loss). Not something that I wanted or needed. I have 2 air compressors at home. I can easily add air to tires. -exterior paint protection (warrantied for 10 years) that was described to me as "ceramic coated paint". I'm 100% sure there was no ceramic coating to this vehicle and given my experience with this dealership, I anticipate I'll learn this 'warranty' is only good for 12mos/12,000 miles, too. -interior protection... again doubtful that anything was applied and doubtful that 'warranty' will be honored for 10 years as promised. I did receive Ally warranty cards for the free oil changes (each including a $50 deductible... so not really free) and windshield replacement. None for key replacement, exterior or interior protection. Not sure there was anything else with regards to this package. What I am relatively sure of is that nothing offered as part of the package was actually included as promised. I did argue to get the key and windshield replacement covered for the 5 years originally promised. 3. Interest rate quoted by dealership and that the vehicle loan was written under was rather high at 6.99% (2.25 points higher than what I found myself though my credit union). Salesman said I'd have to finance through their lender so the dealership could get a 'kickback' given they were allegedly losing money on this transaction. I was told that there would be a prepayment penalty if I tried to pay the loan off before 3 months. Knowing this was yet another blatant lie, I immediately refinanced with my credit union for 4.74%, oddly, with no prepayment penalty from GM Finance. 4. Vehicle delivered a couple of days after purchase and had damage to the dash pad... dealership said it had to be addressed only there. I took it elsewhere for warranty repair. Be cautious if you are buying a vehicle here. You will be lied to and taken advantage of. More
